It's official. Simone as writer, Byrne as penciller on Action Comics:

For Byrne's most recent renditions of Superman in the JLA and SUPERMAN : TRUE BRIT, check out the complete pencils to those stories in the link below:

Also, much of the work you will find in Byrne's online gallery of pencil scans has been drawn at his usual rate of around 2 or 3 pages a day, the same pace that will allow him to keep up with three monthly books (DOOM PATROL and BLOOD OF THE DEMON)

See...now that's just cool. Who doesn't want that?

Guess I'm back to reading all three Super-titles (Mark Verheiden and Ed Benes are taking SUPERMAN, which sounds good enough for me). And with Morrison and Quitely on this All-Star thing, well...that's just crazy. Could it be that the Superman books will be good again? It just might.

Neat. Simone's a fine writer who's only getting better as time goes on, and Byrne is a pencilling machine.

That being said, it's kind of a kooky duo to think about. Simone is an intelligent, reasonable, and thoughtful woman, while Byrne becomes more of a raving lunatic with each passing year. I smell a sitcom...

I'm a biiiiig Simone fan. She has yet to dissapoint me (that is not a dare :D !), and I guess I like Byrne well enough, so I will be buying their run.

If only they had matched Gail with Ed Benes... they were great together. :(

Great news, Action could definetly use a new writer.
