I watch today for prepared for christmas my tape of "Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales" and on "Freeze Frame" contain a very product name. The scene where the Jet-proppeled ski, the name bottom of the box was named Solomon/Grundy Bingiding. Solomon was a very name product on France, but i am not sure for Grundy Bingiding!!!!!!!!

I always wondered about that too. There was also a DC comics character called "Solomon Grundy", he was a big zombie....but what woudl that have to do with skis?

"Solomon Grundy" was a nursery rhyme...that went something like this-

"Solomon Grundy,
born on a Monday,
christened on Tuesday,
married on Wednesday,
took ill on Thursday,
worse on Friday,
died on Saturday,
buried on Sunday.

This is the end of
Solomon Grundy. "

Again how this connects with the water skis, except that the joke may be that they're from a company that's short-lived like Solomon Grundy.....
