Its seems there having a contest where you send in a picture of monster that you drew and if it wins it then goes and becomes one of the monsters on Miguzi. Its pretty cool idea, I respect a block that makes it so the audience feels like they have a connection to it.

The official rules say you have to be 13 or under. Bummer.

What a stupid contest. And you have to be 13 or under? Oh well. Miguzi is for little kids anyway.
I am so glad that rave master is rotating to it though. That show will save the block for sure. And its on weekdays too so its obviously doing well. Too bad it cant get a second timeslot on toonami. It could easily replace Megas or JLU.

Don't even go there. Megas and JLU are great shows. Rave is subpar at best.
But to each his own I guess...
Rave Master will make no impact on Miguzi until it's on the weekday Miguzi line-up (which it should be). A Saturday spot on Miguzi isn't going to do anything for it.
Maybe that 10:30PM spot will help but it's only a matter of time before it gets replaced by something that does better with the 6-11 crowd. I'd like to see Shaman King then but I'll settle for Megas as I can't get enough of most of the episodes of that show.
The contest is actually pretty good I guess... Not very original but it works for the block. I'd like to see my own monster beat the crap out of those losers but that's not gonna happen. Eh we'll just go with Recca's plan... Erin and the crew get devoured by the intruder. Yeah that'll do.

The contest is actually pretty good I guess... Not very original but it works for the block. I think its very original...given that all the other contests the network runs are "Call this number" or "Insert E-mail address here".
Its also great that Miguzi is reaching out to its audience in such an interactive way. Viewers are more apt to care for a block that feel like it's including you in the fun...which is why Toonami needs something akin to this. I might not care for Miguzi...but I do think that this contest is a pretty neat idea.

Well it hasn't happened recently but there have been many many many "send us your monster ideas" contests. But not many on television. Mostly in magazines and other publications.

Not to mention that this ones' more important, as it will have a lasting effect on the block presentation.

:( I am to old! I would have liked to do a girlish monster with kind of bluish coloring because lets face it there are no girls in the Miguzi bumps besides Erin she could use a fellow girl playmate

Maybe I should give it a whirl (age inferences).

Not so. I mean no send us your undersee monster, but so many send us in your drawing and we will make a character type. Why did they have an upper age limit. I was going to send something along the lines of the Hyper Violent Undersee Monster, or Stinky Pile of Poo and see if it would win. These are random contests, correct?

Aw crap...thats a young age limit. Atleast up it by two years, then I couldv'e qualified. I guess they felt it just for the age this block was set for.

I'll make a little kid draw The Alien, so it'd have a chance to get on the show and scare kids. The one with acid blood, you know?

It probably has an age limit to give the little tykes a chance because older "kids" could, of course, draw better.
