well those rumors of Yogi and Huckleberry Hound as the next collections were wrong. The fourth wave of 4 DVD collections due March 22 are:
Flintstones Season 3
and
The Best Of The New Scooby-Doo Movies
There's only 15 of the 24 specials on the collection and according to tvshowsondvd these are 14 of them:
The Ghastly Ghost Town (with The Three Stooges)
The Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair (with Batman & Robin)
The Frickert Fracas (with Jonathan Winters)
Guess Who's Knott Coming to Dinner (with Don Knotts)
The Spooky Fog (with Don Knotts)
The Ghost of Bigfoot (with Laurel & Hardy)
The Ghost of The Red Baron (with The Three Stooges)
The Ghostly Creeps from the Deep (with The Harlem Globetrotters)
The Caped Crusader Caper (with Batman & Robin)
The Lochness Mess (with The Harlem Globetrotters)
The Mystery of Haunted Island (with The Harlem Globetrotters)
The Weird Winds of Winona (with Speed Buggy)
The Haunted Candy Factory (with "Mama" Cass Elliot)
The Haunted Carnival (with Dick Van Dyke)
also the Scooby boxset is $65 while Flintstones is $45.

Well, we know that the Wacky Races spinoffs are coming. What else would they have planned?
Hmm. A Flintstones: Season Four box, and maybe, just maybe, an amalgamation of Yogi Bear or some other Hanna-Barbera shorts.

Why couldn't they have split the New Scoovy-Doo Movies in two twelve episode halves (there were twenty-four episodes in total). At least they are continuing to release episodes of the show after Where Are You. I do hope that when they come around to the 1976 Scooby-Doo Show episodes they release them in the original Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Show format with the original opening and closing credits and Dynomutt episode.
I bet you the fifteenth episode is either Josie and the Pussycats episode (depending on whatever arcane rights issue WB may have regarding the Pussycats) or the Sonny and Cher episode.

I think it will be Scooby-Doo Meets The Addams Family...After all this appearance launched the series.:p Although Sonny & Cher was released on the Hanna-Barbera personal favorites video. The only episode from the New Scooby-Doo Movies to be included.

they put an update at tvshowsondvd saying the 15th episode is Don Adams (talk about someone all 8 year olds crave to see with Scooby).
I'm still waiting for The Banana Splits.

The Don Adams episode was a good one, even though his presence does date the episode -- at least its not the Jerry Reed episode. I guess the Davy Jones episode isn't considered one of the best (I do like that episode, besides it was nice to see Fred team up with Shaggy and Scooby for once). I wonder if the absence of the Adams Family and Josie and the Pussycats episodes have to do with "arcane rights" issues. I do hope they decide to release the other nine episodes at some point. Maybe "The Best of..." is just a way of dividing the series, although it is a bit arbitrary?

Hopefully, when they (decide to) release the Jetsons Season Two, they'll think about putting the Jetsons movie out with the set, that is, if they want to continue the movie with a box set legacy, a la The Flintstones.
I just saw parts of the movie (in Spanish) and thought about this idea.

GOOD GRIEF...More Scooby dvds and no Huck or Yogi??? This sucks
Come on here, put out Huck & Yogi first over Scooby and the Flinstones, since they already had their dvd releases come out first.

I think Time-Warner should look to their Boomerang library and select from which series they infrequently broadcast. I'm thinking either Speed Buggy, Hong Kong Phooey, or Grape Ape.

Remember that the first Hanna-Barbera Golden Collection box sets that came out were Scooby and The Flinststones in March 2004.
And, what is up with the price on the Scooby sets? The first one is still expensive, compared to the other ones. Lower it to $29.96, so I can buy it! And the price on the second one? Over-excessive.
Yes, I'd like to start seeing these boxes released with more variety with a planned time-schedule, even though they seem to be following the one they followed this year. Just add one wave date between May and October.
Hopefully, I can round off the 2004 release collection by May 2005. Wacky Races, Jonny Quest, Top Cat and Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? to go.

It's really disappointing how they are distributing Scooby-Doo onto DVD. Why are they only putting out 15 episodes out of 24 that were made and calling it The Best of The Scooby-Doo Movies for, huh? Why not just put out all 24 episodes and distribute it as The Scooby-Doo Movies: The Complete Third Season. After all, it was the same show anyway, it just went under changes in the format from season to season so that it wouldn't get boring.

Is WB going in chronlogical order while releasing these sets? Because I'm wondering when they're going to get around to the 80's like the Smurfs, Superfriends: The Legendary Superpowers Show, the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo, the 90's Addams Family cartoon, etc.

Well these first boxsets involve shows that went longer than 17 episodes and most of those were series that came out in the early 60s. It does seem they are starting to split the boxsets so that they are releasing 4 DVD sets (like the remaining 4 Flintstones sets and Looney Tunes) and 3 or 2 DVD sets (like Wacky Races and Tom and Jerry). They can't overwhelm the market with H-Bs because there's a lot of different shows on the boxset shelves. So odds are that they'll be putting out the shows that they know will sell without having to market them too hard. I still find it hard to believe that they don't run house ads for these boxsets on the various TW cable stations. Look at how Adult Swim gets time to promote their collections.

Probably due to copyright logistics which in my opinion has never made any sense to me. But that's the way it goes.

If memory serves me, the Globetrotters appeared in 2 episodes, not 3, and Don Knotts did only 1. One of those eps credited to the Globetrotters is probably a Josie & the Pussycats crossover instead.
Everything else looks accurate (Batman & Robin and the Stooges did do 2 eps each).

The Globetrotters were in 3 episodes, "The Loch Ness Mess", "The Mystery of Haunted Island", & "The Ghostly Creep From the Deep". One of them had ghost pirates (actually Redbeard same voice & all except all white), one had ghosts of the Bicentenniel, & the other one, I think, was coaches from the other team trying to keep them from the game....I will have to research this further.:(

Don Knotts was in 2 of the movies - The Spooky Fog & Guess Who's Knott Coming to Dinner.
