It's thsat time of year again, and we all know what that means, right? It means holiday mishaps like Christmas light mishaps, someone actually trying to climp down a chimney, someone getting someone else's gift, and so on. I think we all would like hearing holiday mishaps.
Here's mine: I was 3 and as usual with Santa Claus pictures, I was scared to sit on his lap. My mom and grandfather were there with me, so my grandfather stopped me whining and crying by getting in the picture. But the funny part: there were rows of candy canes and toy soldier staues, and when my grandfather backed up for the picture, his foot accidentally hit one of the canes and they all started falling down like dominoes. If mom had a video camera, America's Funniest Home Videos would pay her millions for the video. :D
So, any holiday mishaps?

hmm I guess my brothers tradition of "The Christmas Potato." That's all he would have for his Christmas dinner. This was when he was a vegetarian he never really put too much thought into that. I just found it amusing.

I would have a ton if I had free access to all the home movies my dad shot in the 80's. I only have one(Christmas 88), and I watched it again recently. My favorite quote of the whole thing now is some commercial I was doing with ornaments:
"If you want the BEST cranberries, try THESE cranberries!"
(I hold up an ornament that's a cranberry basket, then I hold up another ornament shaped like a basket with a different item in it)
"And if you want TONS of eggs, then get these EGGPLANTS!"

I spent 20 bucks on my younger sisters gift, and 4 bucks on my older sisters gift.
Thus far this year, the funniest holiday moments have been watching my cockatiel Snoopy try to get into the Christmas presents I bought. :) I put the smaller gifts into a gift bag I got from one of the stores. Snoopy lands on the edge of the bag, and you'll see his head disappear inside as he tries to reach the objects inside (I'd say he was appropriately named). :p I'll have to see if I can get a picture of him next time.

Hmm. . . it's always kind of humorous, Christmas at our house. But the most memorable Christmas moment was the first year mom didn't make a Christmas dinner, and so we went out. The reason it's so memorable is that a waitress that was working looked exactly like the mom from Wonder Years! Not really funny to others, I suppose.

Tuesday: my boyfriend (not my romantic boyfriend. I'm single on that front) and I went shopping for "King Arthur" (he began his army holidays last Friday I do believe). Instead of saying "Joyeuse Fetes" (Happy Holidays) to the tellers, he said "bonne fete" (happy birthday).
:p

Just wondering:would having Wendy's as your Christmas dinner be considered "funny"? It is silly having everyday chemicals for a holiday dinner.

Well, last night my mom and I were talking about ghosts and how some people we know have the ability to see them. Then, in the middle of the conversation, I turned my head to notice that a candle had caught a fake plant (of which was adjacent to the candle) on fire. I jumped and let out a short yell, making my mom get freaked out and jump (since she was still in the mindset of ghosts, she thought I had seen one or soemthing. :p ). Anyway, we got the fire out before it caused any damage... Just can't use the fake plant anymore. Just lucky we were in the room at the time it did that. So... yeah, watch your candles. >.>
Btw, Merry Christmas everyone! :D

I'm sure there's a ton from when I was a kid, but for this year, nothing really except for the animals chasing each other around the house :/
