Lana from Smallville major info!

Go to www.batman-superman.com , then go to the Superman section. On the front page and heroes section Lana Lang is listed as a character from the show. On her mini-page it says she's a fashion designer and that she was Clark's girlfriend all through high-school. Was this in the comics?

I'm having a brain lull right now, but there was an episode of Superman where as Clark Kent was killed by the rogue cop. When everyone thought he was missing, he was hanging out with Lana Lang.
I haven't read the comic much but I imagine that Lana & the Kents(normal folk) are the only ones who know of Clark's secret identity.
She's bound to find out later on in the series of Smallville.

Well, i've just read this here at this site, but in the comics, Lana was the one who had a crush on Clark. She didn't reveal her feelings until the night before he left to go to Metropolis, or something like that. She was more of a Chloe type character in the comics.

And in the animated series, the two were boyfriend/girlfriend. And she knew he was Superman because she saw him do all this impossible stuff when they were kids. "Just because i'm gorgeous doesn't mean i'm stupid," is how she put it.

But i don't recall that she was a reporter anywhere. She was a fasion designer in TAS, and i don't know about the comics.
