The next episode arc to air after the current In Blackest Knight on Justuice League will be the two part, and highly anticipated, The Enemy Below. Bruce Timm recently talked to <a href="http://www.***************.com">Comics Continuum.com</a> about the character featured in the episode: Aquaman.Aquaman will make his first appearance on Cartoon Network's Justice League animated series on Monday, Dec. 3 (and again on Dec. 10th) in the two part The Enemy Below arc.
"That's one of my favorite episodes so far, the Aquaman two-parter," Justice League producer Bruce Timm said.
Bruce Timm said Justice League's take on Aquaman is almost like a villain, must like his Superman: The Animated Series appearance. Aquaman was described as "Conan of the sea."
"He's kind of a barbarian king, who lives in Atlantis" Timm told <a href="http://www.***************.com">Comics Continuum.com</a>. "We wanted to find ways to make him not just Namor with blonde hair. Going back to the old Aquaman, one of the things that does separate him from Namor, is that he literally is a family man. Mera and his son are in the Aquaman spotlight show. His whole family life plays a real pivotal part in the show."
The two part Justice League episode will also feature Aquaman's half-brother The Ocean Master! The two part arc kicks off on December 3rd.
