Wouldn't be great if Iron Fist had a cartoon? I think that would be awesome, especially if the fights were choreographed very well. Usually, I wouldn't say this but, I think Iron Fist or Shang-Chi would be great for anime as well.

Also, Deadpool and the Taskmaster should have an animated series. I think that it could be great, funny, and a winner.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Deadpool would be cool. How about Night Trasher? (I think that was his name.)

I wish Wesley Snipes had been able to get the SHADOWHAWK series off the ground (or even better, the movies). That would have rocked!

Deadpool...? Now that's a Marvel adult cartoon worth creating.

Woops! Must have not been thinking clearly yesterday. Just remembered that SHADOWHAWK is Image, not Marvel. Duh!! :o

You know Blade wasa bit of an obscure Marvel character that they took a chance on and look how that turned out. I'd be great if they could take more chances like these with some of the more lesser known characters in the Marvel library.

I remember back in the mid-80s,Star Comics,an off-shoot of Marvel,
did a comic called PLANET TERRY,about a boy who goes across the
galaxy looking for his lost parents. He had 2 side-kick/friends.One
was a female robot named Robota and the other was a scaly-green
tough-guy alien,who's name escapes me!
I figured that PLANET TERRY would make a perfect Marvel/Pixar
team-up!

The Prowler would make a great cartoon, if only he was still around.

The Prowler would make a great cartoon, if only he was still around. I actually liked his character and picked up a few comics just to read about The Prowler. Even his episode in the Spider-Man cartoon was pretty good though nothing special. It was definitely hurt by that lame icey bad guy.

Yes...an Iron Fist anime would definately work. As long as Marvel doesn't force the series to be made simply for the sake of jumping on the anime bandwagon. I want to watch it for the story, not thirty minutes of anime cliches. But yes, anime would be the perfect medium for an I.F. cartoon.

I'd be great if they could take more chances like these with some of the more lesser known characters in the Marvel library. It actually would seem much easier for the creative teams working on such series--simply because there's more room to adapt the lesser-known characters for tv (where properties like Spider-Man and X-Men really can't be altered too much from their comic origins without raising too much criticism from the audience).

Exactly. The big properties are pretty much set in stone and not many changes can be made. If any elaborate changes get made it could upset the fans or the comic company. I know Spider-Man Unlimited got alot of people upset but I was surprised at how far they were allowed to go with the show's premise.

But with characters like Moon Knight, Iron Fist, or what have you they can step outside thebox a little and maybe come up with something great.

they need to come out with a new series starring their unsung heroes.

It would be great if Iron Fist, that new group the Exiles and generation X had there own series but WB isn't gonna really push for anything if its really not DC you know and FOx was the only true place where Marvel cartoons lived but 4kids isn't tight with Marvel like that, however now adays Marvels animation towards its characters in shows are baddly done from Spiderman Unlimited, Ultimate Avengers, X-Men Evolution and spiderman MTV, I think if marvel does do animation again stick to good well drwn characters has how they draw them in the comics like in the first X-men Series on Fox Kids and keep a good lock on the orginal costumes and storyline and try not to kiddie it up like X-Men Evolution did. Look at X-men Fox kids and Spiderman Fox Kids brilliantly done I'd say!

Look at X-men Fox kids and Spiderman Fox Kids brilliantly done I'd say! The fact that the 1990's X-Men cartoon stuck too closely to the comic book was the reason why the show looked poor from time to time. They didn't streamline and stylize the designs enough and that didn't mix well with their budget.

If they do cartoons based on more obscure characters I think they should really test the limit of animation design. Besides doing the artwork design for a cartoon is similair for designing comic book characters. They have to be dynamic, powerful, and look great. Comics do well when translated to cartoons but they can slip up from time to time.
