These are all copied from a psychology worksheet. Basically, you figure out what the capital letters are to complete the phrase. DO NOT try to make words out of letters and numbers combined, the numbers are just numbers, and the letters are always the first letter of a word.

Here are two examples:

12 M in a Y = 12 Months in a Year
or
2 P in a P = 2 Peas in a Pod

So here goes:

26 L of the A

7 W of the A W

1,001 A N

12 S of the Z

54 C in a D (with the J's)

and one that I made up (meaning it should be the easiest one):

B B and the 3 B

Good luck!

26 Letters of the Alphabet

1,001 Arabian Nights

12 Signs of the Zodiac

54 Cards in a Deck (including the Jokers)

and finally...

Bugs Bunny and the 3 Bears

If 7 W or the A W is really 7 W of the A W, then I'd say
7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

12 D of J C

13 C in a S

76 T L the B P

Here are some more!

57 V of H K

88 P K

8 L on an O

3 B of the U S G

18 is the V A

7 L B T M

6 S on a G

30 D in a M

200 D for P G in M

3 F in a Y

5,280 F in a M

42, the A to L, the U, and E

57 V of H K = 57 Varietys of Hienz Katsup (my worksheet has a variation of this (57 H V = 57 Hienz Varietys)

88 P K = 88 Piano Keys

18 is the V A = 18 is the Voting Age

30 D in a M = 30 Days in a Month

3 F in a Y = 3 Feet in a Yard

5,280 F in a M = 5,280 Feet in a Mile

No, it does have something to do with Christmas(more like Christianity in general), but nothing to do with the 12 Days of Christmas (thats a different Acrostic).

Is 6 S on a G really 6 Strings on Guitar?

Jack :D
P.S. Did you make all those up on the spot?

Nope, that's a hard one, but really obvious when you finally get it (our teacher had to tell the class that one).

I'll get back to you on those other two later. My brain just stopped 5 minutes ago. I hate it when it does that.

Off I go to the kitchen for some Ibuprofen!

BBNTN

JSAP

YDKWYD

Let's try.....

5 Fingers on each Hand

To Be or Not To Be, That Is The Question..

Early to Bed, Early to Rise, Makes A Man Healthy, Wealthy & Wise.*

I'll let someone else do the WB ones...

*(Well, if you're doing that, here's one for ya!):

E to R, E to B, M a M H, but S D. :D

Jack, I slept it over, and I STILL can't get them! Can you give me a hint?!

Jack
11-23-2001, 12:31 PM
BBNTN = Bugs Bunny Nips The Nips

JSAP = Johnny Smith and poker-Huntas

YDKWYD = You Don't Know What You're Doin'

WW = Wackiki Wabbit

and some hints for Danielle:

2 A B P S S L C P O on a S S B is an ingredients list

7 D and S W is a popular movie/story and also phrased as SW and the 7 D

12 D of J C, you were on the right track with this one, I can't give any other hints. Just find was 12 things Jesus had, and you're set.

13 C in a S is related to 54 C in a D (with the Js)

Jack :D

Danielle
11-23-2001, 01:22 PM
Well, that helps me....('cept for the ingredients list...and I'm a natural baker. My mom's gonna be mad... :D )

Okay, let's see what we got here....

7 D and S W= Y'know, it would be a lot easier if you put it in the order it's in in the movie.... 7 Dwarfs and Snow White

12 D of J C= I'm Jewish, gosh darn it, I don't know about Jesus!

13 C in a S= 13 Cards in a Set....aaaaaahhh, you mean from Ace to King! Now I get it!

I'm giving up on the last one. Anyone else?

Meanwhile, Jack, you never figured out MY puzzles.... :p

Yeah, but it's one of the questions I took from the worksheets. They decided to reword things to make them harder. I also copied "7 Dwarves and Snow White" from the sheet.

I'm still figuring some of yours out, Danielle. The recipe one is also an advertising campain and a jingle.

Sorry, but that doesn't help me, Jack :D . Just tell me what it is! Please!

Soooooo, Jesus had 12 stundents/disciples/apostles? Yay! I learned something new today! :D

Allright:

2 A B P S S L C P O on a S S B =
2 All Beef Pattys, Special Sauce, Letuce, Cheese, Pickles, Onions on a Sesame Seed Bun

i.e. The McDonald's Big Mac theme.

Yup! Now try out these Wheel of Morality acrostics:

E L in O H, in H M, and in a T P O of M.

N A what H D are M of.

P H P like K!

V E and V O.

D E with Y M F.

The A, M F, is B in the W.

If Y C S A N, Y P at the I C.

Singin' Stray Cat
11-24-2001, 10:10 PM
Here's the ones I could figure out at first (a sure-fire sign that I've watched waaaaaaay too much Animaniacs:

N A what H D are M of = Never Ask What Hot Dogs are Made of. (Good advice there.)

P H P like K! = Possums have Pouches like Kangaroos! ( )

V E and V O = Vote Early and Vote Often.

D E with Y M F = Don't Eat With Your Mouth Full.

The A, M F, is B in the W = The Answer, My Friend, is Blowing in the Wind. (Unless you're in New Jersey, where whatever's blowing in the wind smells funny.) (No offense to anyone who lives there...)

If Y C S A N, Y P at the I C = If You Can't Say Something Nice, You're Probably at the Ice Capades.

That leaves:

E L in O H, in H M, and in a T P O of M.

And can anyone identify these? (Of course you can. :D )

D N B up. S T D.

L. R. R

There are actually a lot of revisions to those, but I picked the one from the actual Wheel of Morality. I think. ;) It IS one of the morals, I'm not tricking you....

Ah ah ah! Don't assume, Missy! :p I only got the last one:

Can ya give me a hint? :D

Can ya give me a hint? :D

Yeah, I suppose so. ;) It's along the same lines as Lather, Rinse, Repeat - a common warning.

And I just got the last one of yours!! I think...

Elvis Lives on in Our Hearts, in Our (?) Minds, and in a Trailer Park Outside of Missouri.

Sheesh...You'd think a Memphis resident would get that right away...
