Bane has gotten a hold of a mysterious new weapon, which gives him tremendous power. Nightwing decides to go after the brute on his own, but in the wake of the Monster Within events he has lost his sense of the purpose for his work as a crime fighter. To win the battle against his deadly opponent, he will have to seek help from the most unexpected visitor, in order to reunite with the Boy Wonder that he once was.

As for the release date, I think it's safe to say this issue will be released in a couple of days.

Yes this issue is written and drawn by Romain (SALVOR) so you have Romain's brush work this issue and yes, it's lovely to see and well worth the wait. The other part of mine you'll need to deal with is the cover..

Romain's done a great job at keeping the art fluid and consitent with some great narrative angles. A year in the making and I really don't think you'll be disappointed!

I like the art, seems really fluid and... cool

My only gripe are the eyes, having no whites to them feels like it takes away from Dick a bit, in my opinion he seems a little less.... I'm not sure, intelligent, I guess. This may be because I'm used to characters like Shaggy from Scooby Doo having eyes like that.

That aside it looks great, and I can't wait for more.

Yes this issue is written and drawn by Romain (SALVOR) so you have Romain's brush work this issue and yes, it's lovely to see and well worth the wait. The other part of mine you'll need to deal with is the cover..Very cool...sometimes I'm hesitant to post what I think of the art because I'm no artist myself, and I don't want to say something that would end up being a backhanded compliment. It took 4 years of doodling in high school to come up with 1 character for me! So great job, again, can't wait to see it!

Looks very cool, Sal. I remember seeing these pages elsewhere in rough form, maybe it was at the Shane Glines boards, and seeing the finished result here is pretty cool. I like the little touches put in there, like the knicks in the ground. Can't wait to see the whole thing :).

but..lets see where this is going.Well you're making some good points here. First : this is not your usual animated comic book, there'll be a LOT of symbolism throughout the issue. There'll be way more detail in the "real" sequences. Second : my style is and has always been somewhat off-model, I like it that way. Please try to go past that "ugh off-model' feeling and give the art a chance. And don't worry too much, NW with a mask looks closer to the Bruce Timm basics. Last but not least : indeed, wait and see where this is going, you should be in for a fun ride :)

I'm intrigued. The different style looks snazzy. Can't really say much about the story cuz we've only scraped the surface, but I look forward to whenever the issue is released. :)
