To follow the trend, which is funnier, "Rhapsody Rabbit" or "The Cat Concerto"?

It's really hard to pick, buuuuut (as Tim C. says), I grew up on Rhapsody Rabbit - didn't see Cat Concerto until the early 70's - so I've gotta go with Friz's version, however apt the cat vs. mouse dynamic seems...

THE CAT CONCERTO is more accurate [since Tom chasing a mouse seems more common than Bugs chasing a mouse], but I think RHAPSODY RABBIT is a little funnier.

Even though it came out second, it's definitely "Cat Concerto" for me. The whole plot of the cartoon seems much more to suit Tom and Jerry instead of Bugs and a mouse. And the end result of Jerry beating Tom is completely fitting with the whole T&J series. With a handful of exceptions, Bugs is always the winner in his cartoons, and I just don't find it believable he'd let himself get beaten by a little mouse.
Doesn't mean I don't laugh out loud when I see "Rhapsody Rabbit." Indeed I do, and I also feel a little sympathy to Friz and the gang for getting hosed by H-B like they did. But, plot-wise and character-wise, "Cat Concerto" just seems to work better.

Cat Concerto for me too! The premise just fits Tom and Jerry better. Bugs tossing a stick of dynamite into a piano at a little mouse is so out of character for him.
Rhapsody Rabbit. I just think it's funnier, and Bugs is perfectly in character. Now if Bugs were just walking along, saw a mouse, and started chasing it, then he would be out of character.

This one can go either way. I chose The Cat Concerto because I think that film, during the second half, had more gags connected to one another than Rhapsody Rabbit. Plus, the ending was a big difference. Rhapsody Rabbit's final scene built up and led to a disappointing miniscule surprise, while TCC just kept going with the antics.
