Aw, bugger. You'd think "Freddie Got Fingered" would get him banned for life from ever appearing in front of a camera again...

You'd rather he make another movie? Let him on TV!

Naw, if he's in a movie it's easy enough to avoid the theater. But if he's on TV I might stumble across him. *shudder*

Knoxville...Paging Johnny Knoxville...

Sincerely,

John "Captain Caps" Kilduff

Even they note it...

P.S,

Skaters have treated me like a stain. I've been their target for half a decade now. I hope they burn.

--called him Canada's answer to Andy Kaufman. Sure, "The Bum Bum Song" was funny, and it was interesting seeing him with Monica Lewinsky and her homemade handbag, but I grew bored of him right about the time he did the show about his cancerous cojone. He peaked.

I agree with ya on that, Belch. He peaked and he's trying to hold on. Who knows, maybe this WB sitcom will be good, but I'm not holding my breathe. I grew tired of him ratahr quickly. His gimmick just wore out.

His gimmick was that he went out on the street and had fun with people because they had no idea who he is. Now that he's so recognized, he needs to find something else. The question is...can he find something else? Well, Road Trip was a good movie, and I liked him in that, I didn't care for him in Charlie's Angels (but that was a pretty bad movie, too) and Freddy Got Fingered? Well, I think that movie did what he wanted it to do, and I think Tom Green is quite satisfied with it. But it's clear he can never do anything like that again.

So what's next? A skateboarding show doesn't interest me, but I will check it out to see what he's up to. I think he might surprise us yet, actually. Rip Torn had nothing but praise for him and heck, Drew Barrymore saw something in him that caused her to marry him. Not too bad considering ten years ago he was living in his parent's basement! We should all be so lucky! So if some of of the best talent in Hollywood believes in him, maybe there is something there. Only time will tell.
