Final Fantasy I and II. I have the strangest feeling that Chain of Memories is a rehash of the PS2 Kingdom Hearts more than anything else.

FF I and II. If you have a DS, it'll be a nice prelude for FFIII.

It depends.
While KH isn't completely all new material, FF I & II is so dated it's not even funny.
I really don't enjoy FFI seeing as the story is as basic and bland as you can get, and the gameplay is textbook "old school" FF.
FFII is better in the story department, but just keep in mind these games are old... and I mean OLD.
So go for FF I & II if you're wanting some FF nostalgia, and KH:CoM if you enjoyed KH and want some more to tide you over until KH 2.

yeah. i would go with FF I & II. it may have bad graphics cause its a classic but i think its better than COM . i also want both. but COM looks like kingdom hearts on PS2 and yeah. i dunno. your choice

Dawn of Souls is a great collection of two classic RPGs and will provide you with hours of enjoyment. Chain of Memories I have yet to play, but I have heard from many people that it isn't very good.

If you've already beaten Final Fantasy Origins for PS1, then unless you really have a compelling desire for the new features, it may not be worth a purchase. Of course, I do have that compelling desire so that's why I bought it. ;) You have to remember though, not only are these old games, but the random encounter rate is very high, and rely on old battle techniques and strategies (i.e. don't waste all your magic on one weak enemy, save them for groups, etc.). I believe the default setting for both I & II on GBA is to "Easy mode" from FFO and that may help.
