I wrote this like 2 years ago lol and just re-read it...there are some errors be warned...

The Ways of life
It was late at night I was running. Running like mad. Someone or something was chasing me. I looked behind me and saw shadows approaching quickly. Someone wanted to kidnap me for ransom. My father had died not long ago and my mother had gotten all the power he possessed. He was a powerful man in the world and now everyone wanted the power. My sister and I had been separated earlier and I had hoped that she would get away safely and call the cops. I turned the corner and ran into a man. “ Snotty little brat quit your running,” he said nastily. He then took out what looked like a stun gun and stung me. I fell on the ground and all went dark.
I awoke in a room of pure darkness. No one was there and no one was coming to get me out. I was scared and scared for my sister. What was I to do? I was only 8 years old and my sister was 10. Suddenly the door opened revealing two men one short, one tall, wearing big jackets. “Now look little boy you give us the information we need and we let you go,” said the short one, “ No” I yelled back. The taller man snarled and pulled out his gun, “ Looks like were doing this the hard way,” he said, and then the door opened and in walked my sister. The taller man put the gun to her head. “ Tell or she’s dead,” the short man said with a hint of laughter. It appeared that my sister was asleep or knocked out but then she quietly and quickly dropped a key to me. “ Okay Ill tell you but give me 5 minutes to think of everything” I said acting innocent. “3 minutes and your time is up,” said the short man and the two left.
I struggled with my lock and using the key got out. I went to get my sister but they yelled 1 minute and my sister said to get out. She then told me if I didn’t leave we would both die. So I ran, ran like the coward I was. I got out and then I heard a scream. A man cursed and then I heard a gun shot. I started to cry knowing what had happened. I ran as fast as I could and finally got home.
I went in and picked up the phone telling the police what had happened. Five days later the police found the place where I was held and my sisters body. My mother was devastated. But, not as much as me, it was my fault she was dead, my fault. I cried and cried and cried.
30 years later…
I am now 38. I have sleek silver hair that gleams in the sun. Over the years my mind had suffered. Every move I made was always precise and I could never ever stop thinking about my sister. I was wearing a dark black jacket and jeans walking fast to work. I got in the building called “ Madacardi Wild”. Madacardi was a system that every person in town had to make food. If you thought about the food the food appeared. My mother had died 5 years after my sister’s death and left everything to me. I got all the power and riches yet my heart was always empty. No one ever loved me and no one ever would. I was a loner. I got into work, “ You’re late again next time your fired” his boss said, “ yes, yes for the billionth time I will be on time” I said in a hurry for I was always late. I went into my office where I had 4 partners in my group. They were Zan a 25 year-old male, Nina a 33-year-old female, Leeanne a 28 year-old female and Mike a 34 year-old male. We all got along nicely and we rarely fought. They were all pretty intelligent. My group was designing a new machine. It was not complete but we were close. There were a few problems with the software. I Logged onto his computer and studied the program over and over again. I made notes of what the program was doing. “ Any luck yet?” ask Zan, “ Sorry, no, I can’t find the glitch and I am surfing fast on this thing” I replied. “ Okay keep working I will check the data on them” Zan said. They all kept checking and checking and finally did a test run. The machine was supposed to make anything dirty clean. My group did the test run but the machine again failed. My shift was over so I left.
I went to the park watching family’s play with each other. Something I wanted yet could never have. I thought and thought about my family and I got sadder and sadder. Suddenly a girl walked up behind me. “Hello sir can I help you” she said. She looked young and had nice gleaming purple hair. “ No miss” I replied sternly, “okay just wondering,” she answered cheerfully. She then waked off to another family group and greeted them. I decided I had seen enough for today and headed toward home. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned and saw a old lady with gray hair “Sir can you pl-please tell me where the grocery store is” she said, “ Sure maam” I said. I gave her directions and she thanked me for my help. I felt happy for a change .I liked helping people just never was around to do it. He sighed and went on. Not knowing where to go or what to do. I at first going to go to his house but decided that I wanted to go to a place where all was quiet and peaceful. I had been looking for this place a long time yet never could find it. I walked on and on. I then ran into the same girl with purple hair. “ Hi again” she said, “ Hello, how are you?” I replied. “ I am good today and you?” she asked, “ Well I am never good or bad so I don’t know” he said. The girl looked away. “That’s too bad” she said, “ What’s your name?” She asked me. “ My name is…Noric,” I said, “ Strange name, but sounds cool, my name is Selina,” she answered. “Lets walk” I said and she nodded in agreement. We walked for a while. They went to another park and sat on one of the benches. The trees were green for it was spring, flowers were blooming and it looked like a jungle of colors. The bench was painted half blue half pink. He liked the scenery of the park. I sat in the park besides this girl he had never met. She was beautiful yes but way to young she looked as if she were only 21 or 22. I sat back. “ What’s the matter?” She asked, “ Nothing just thinking about my life” he replied, “here why don’t you tell me” she said and he started his story about him and his sister. She gasped and said she was really sorry. I was grateful, but all the same he had heard it a lot. I asked the girl if she wanted to come to his house for some coffee. She told me that it would be great.
We came to my house; my house had a flower valley behind it pools on both sides and sculptures of animals in the front not to mention a big house; and went inside I made some coffee and handed her a mug. “Nice place you got here” she said with wonder in her eyes, “ Yes, I guess” he said.
I asked her if she wanted to go swimming. She said only if I wanted to. I decided to go for it. I dove in and she did to. We raced and swam and splashed. My heart was opening from the darkness. We got out and she told me she had to be on her way and thanks for the great time. She leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. When she left I touched my cheek. I felt so weird. I had never felt this way before. I decided I liked the feeling and went up-stairs to bed.
I got up the next day and went to work. It was normal day except they found the software glitch and got the program working. Now all we need to do is test it. I left work to the park, there was no sign of Selina, I went to the other park, and there was no sign of her again. I felt sad. I then spotted her, walked up to her and said “ Hello how are you today?” “Good thank you” she said cheerfully. I smiled very happy at the moment. “Want to do anything today?” he asked her, “ Not really” she said. “ Okay lets go to the…petting zoo,” he suggested. “ Okay sounds fun to me,” she said.
We drove to the zoo in my cheap car. We got out, paid for the tickets and went in. I saw a lot of animals and she really liked all of them. “ Thank you so much for bringing me” she said laughing, “ No problem I am having a great time too” he replied. I was happy, happier than I have ever been. Everything was going perfect, and then I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I looked over and saw a car speeding at us with police behind it. It hit my car and sent us spinning. The car stopped I hit my head and all went dark. I awoke in the hospital. “ Nurse what happened,” I said weakly. “ Car accident Hun but don’t worry you’re alright” she said sweetly to him, “What about Selina” he said. “ If you mean the girl who was beside you, I am sorry sir she did not make it” the nurse finished. She heard a patient cry and left. I couldn’t believe what was happening to me. I turned over in my pillow and sobbed. I eventually fell asleep. Now the darkness was taking me over further. Soon I would be just as bad as Satan himself.
1 month later…
I finally got out of the hospital and went back to work. Everyone was sad for me but I now had problems with anger and was mad all the time. Everyone was upset with this but what did I care. I walked around but never going to the park. I usually went home into a room I built so it would always be dark. It was fun making people mad and pushing them around. I laughed about it.
I found out that a week after my crash the police caught the two villains. I went to see who they were to get a good idea of how I was going to get back at them.
I sped towards the police station. I went in and told them who I was, “ How dare you,” I yelled at them, they stood up and I realized who it was. “ So what” the short one said, “ Yea like we care” said the tall man. “You’re the ones who killed my sister,” I yelled. “ Heh, close but we must be there son’s.I believe our dad's told us that they killed a young girl after a boy ran away. We decided to stay with the family buisiness” said the short one. “ Yea what’s your name anyways?” said the tall one. “Noric” I replied calmly trying to contain my rage. “ What a stupid name” said the short one a little frightened, “ Our pop’s told us about you and how they killed the little girl just to hear her scream” said the tall one laughing. I walked out the door quickly, not knowing how much more I could take. .
I drove home as fast as I could and there I made my plan to kill the two. While hacking I finally came upon the blueprints of the police station. I made my plan and I was set, I went upstairs to my bedroom and pulled out my gun. It had two bullets left I would have to get them both on one shot.
I ran towards the police station. I climbed the wall and busted inside without making a sound. I pulled out a stun gun and came up behind the guard and stunned him. I grabbed the keys in case I needed them and went to the jail cell. The two were asleep.
“ Wake up you 2 oafs time to die” I said wickedly. They opened their eyes and noticed the gun pointed at them. They got up quick, “ So you’re going to shoot us kid,” said the tall one, “ Nah he don’t have the guts” the shorter one said. “ Oh yea” I said. I pointed the gun at the smaller guy and shot. The man fell dead before he hit the ground. The taller man shrieked. “ Now do you believe me” Noric said, “ yes, yes I do, I am sorry please I don’t want to die” I said, I pointed the gun but couldn’t fire. My body wouldn’t let me. Suddenly the man from the cell grabbed the gun and shot. I screamed and fell to the floor; I had been hit in the stomach. The guard awoke and ran towards the man. The guard got the gun and called an ambulance. By ambulance arrived it was too late for Noric. He had let the evil and darkness in his heart get to him. Always thinking of the bad' and never the good, for that it cost him his life.
