New Inuyasha promo. Anyone else catch it? Funny as all hell. :D

I haven't seen it yet. However, judging by the episode's title, I have a feeling that the ad will be similar to the "MIAKA!/TAMAHOME!" thing that happens in Fushigi Yuugi.

That new ad just pains me everytime I see it. It accentuates the biggest beef with the show I have. Everytime Inuyasha sneezes, Kagome just SCREAMS his name. EVERYTIME. I could understand if she were to say, "Oh my goodness!!!" or something to that extent. Just not always scream his name. She says his name atleast 20 times an episode. It just gets annoying.

Haha, I guess there are some similarities with the excessive name calling.
I thought the promo was funny, especially the last couple of sequences. Poor Inu, it's like he is allergic to boobs.

As a comedy spot making fun of the show, this was quite good. But I don't think it will be very effective in persuading viewers to watch Inuyasha, which after all is supposed to be the purpose of promo spots. Feels like the AS folks got so caught up by the silliness of the promo that they forgot why it was being made. (^_*)

Anyone got it online!? I gotta see this.
( I used to do the "Kaneeedaaaa!!!" "Tetsuuuooooo!" thing with a buddy when I worked at a movie theater. From across the lobby to each other. it was fun freaking customers out)

"Kaneda!"
"Tetsuo!"
"Kaneda!"
"Testuo!"
"O Kaneda!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Kaneda! we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Kaneda! we stand on guard for thee.
O Kaneda! we stand on guard for thee."
Oh, don't tell me I'm the only person who thought of this when they hear the more recent English-language dub.
As for the promo, it doesn't seem to be up on ASF yet.

after this post...
the commercial was quite funny and I felt as though it was excellent. when a poster compared the commercial to a fushigi yuugi thing, they hit it on the head...anyway big ups to adult swim
