Starting in January, Adult Swim will debut new programming on its block, including the season premiere of Home Movies, which is now SQUIGGLE-FREE, as it is animated in Macromedia Flash.
The move was an easy decision, because the original animation program was not very up-to-date or that fun to work with, and most animators know that Flash is quite an easy package to learn. The new animation is smoother and more traditional than in the past.
Starting with "Politics", Home Movies continues the story of third-grader Brendan Small, who, alongside filming home movies with his friends Melissa and Jason, must now deal with the side role of his mysterious father, who seems to put pressure on everyone, including McGuirk.
But don't worry. This isn't Dawson's Creek. Home Movies will continue the genuine, conversational humor that the show has been known for by fans all around.
Look for Home Movies at 10:30 PM, on January 6th.
