The majority of anime on television is either on Cartoon Network, G4TechTV, the Anime Network, International Channel and smaller networks like MTV2, or Showtime. What are some anime that you would like to see on other networks? You can choose anime that used to be on TV, but now isn't. When choosing a network, try to use other networks besides CN or G4TechTV. If there is no other choice, you can use them. You can use broadcast networks too.

When FOX aquired Escaflowne, it should have been on at primetime.

I think Fighting Spirit should go to Spike TV or ESPN. Kiddy Grade and Spiral could easily work on the Sci Fi Channel.

Add Tenchi GXP to that, it seems like a good pick-up for Sci-Fi.

I'd love for IC to air One Piece uncut even without subtitles. If they can't do that then I'd settle for Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, or Shaman King.

G4TechTV should air the .hack series when CN is done with them. That makes some good sense.

I agree. It wouldn't have stood a chance, but neither do 90% of the shows they air anyway.

It would have gotten better ratings than "Temptation Island 2" or "Firefly". Stick that thing on at Fridays and you'd seal the anime fan crowd.

At best it would've done just as well as Firefly did, but I think alone that would've asontinshed Fox execs enough to keep the show on the air for more than 7 episodes. After all, it's not like they've ever been able to maintain an audience on Friday nights anyway.

Guess I should give the obligatory Canadian list.

YTV should air Fruits Basket, Ruruouni Kenshin, Detective Conan, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam SEED Destiny and, assuming they wouldn't have a problem with airing it uncut, Fullmetal Alchemist.

If they did have a problem, it would be best suited for Teletoon. I think Zatchbell and Flame of Recca would also be great to have on Teletoon, but they're never going to air anime. Ever.

SPACE should air Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop, assuming the alleged legal problems ever get ironed out. Heck, CHUM (parent company of SPACE) could even try picking up FMA in addition and airing them on their network station CityTV. It's not like anything on the station apart from uncut movies get ratings anyway.

A Disney channel should air the Kingdom Hearts TV series. ;)

I always thought USA and TNT would be a good network for anime. Noir, Rahxephon, Requiem for the Darkness (?), Popoton, Tsukihime would be great if included on the lineup of USA or TNT.

A Disney channel should air the Kingdom Hearts TV series. ;)...as soon as they make one.

PBS could run the plethora of more pensive series anime via Masterpiece Theater. It'd be the perfect home for Windy Tales, Tsukihime, Texhnolyze, Someday's Dreamers, Saikano, Planetes, Paranoia Agent, Niea_7, KoiKaze, Haibane Renmei and Arjuna. It'd fit well there, it'd be nationally broadcast, and yet not under the thumb of content restrictions.

SciFi could run Planetes, Twin Spica (though it could run on PBS in afternoon syndication,) Stellvia, Fafner, Galaxy Railways and everything else previously mentioned for it.

Mtv2 could run Beck and Texhnolyze. One because it's a indie-music anime, and one because it'd be a throwback to the days of Mtv running stuff like Aeon Flux.
