Bokkun made friends with that giant statue robot! best part of the episode! and getting to see super gold Sonic for longer then a few seconds was nice but overall things seemed way to rushed and weird I mean why was Eggman upset about his grandfathers plan to destroy the world when Eggman was going to do it anyway? :confused: and boy were my predictions right! I so called Shadow turning good and sacrificing himself!

4Kids handled this episode.... not too bad actually. O_O

In my opion this was the best eposide in the arc. Some parts made me get tears in my eyes. Why are they so desperit to replaces Amy's lines with Chris. There was one bad animation spot. Other than that the eposide is good. At the end they should of done what they did in the game. They shuold of showed a picture of Shadow on the Earth. Why didn't they show Shadow fall to the Earth? I liked it though. *Cries*

I mean why was Eggman upset about his grandfathers plan to destroy the world when Eggman was going to do it anyway?It was made more clear in the game, but he wasn't goin to destroy the world, he just wanted to threaten it, so he could take it over.

Despite the fact that he quesitoned why cannon didn't fire at the beginning of the final chapter of the game. Also I wonder if Mike Pollock knows that the line Eggman said after the Ark was put back in orbit was an almost word for word copy of the same line in the game?

Oh and next week, we finally get to see "TEAM CHAOTIX! They're detectives you want on your side!"

Shadow never was evil to begin with! He just had alot of pent up anger and stuff, that doesn't mean evil. He just finally decided to come around to helping them, that's all. He still has the same bad-you know what attitude.

I missed it, but I saw the Japanese version anyway, well, bad quality anyway....

Shadow KNEW the ARK would crash and that Gerald's plan was being carried out and for the majority of the series, he wanted it to happen. That was an evil intention, so to me, I believe he was evil AT FIRST to begin with. In the game, he was more or less fulfilling Maria's wish or so he thought, but this wasn't so emphasized in this here anime, so I stand by what I say. It was only in this episode when Shadow truly saw the light.

Good episode with nice mix of emotionals and action and 4kids manage to score some good music in some scenes. Flaws being Chris' hogging the spotlight, and Biolizard not really being emphasized upon, thus his appearance was only there solely because he was in the game...

Well, after they teemed up to defeat the biolizard, my tape stopped. So much for takin the damn SATs and Tapin Winx Club before this.

Yup, they rushed to the Biolizard, never explaning where it came from. However, the entrance it made was kind of hot, so big up to TMS on this episode. It definitely was the best one of not only the Shadow arc, but the entire series. Incredible emotion, and even though Chris stole Amy's lines because the real focus of this series is Chris, not able else if you didnt realize ALREADY. Still he played a role that was less annoying then in the past, and plus he added the fact of Shadow saved him. However, if i didnt read information on this episode before, I would have not known how badly they chop Shadow flying Chris to the wall. A kid make still be asking how fatigued and beat up he looked.

AND YES BOKKUN got major highlight in this episode. Even though they may have rushed, almost evry scene was perfect, even the show's fillers of Scarlet Gracia, the President and even the kids. From Tails flying to Knuckles playing a vital role as well to even Sonic realizing there was no time to smile and snicker throughout the episode, it was terrifically done.

The only problem is that I didnt see the END, [SIGH}

They where working with them by carring the master emerald around. They did ask them if they wanted to help take over the Earth. That is mainly one of their only lines in this eposide.

Its going to be fun watchin Team Choatix make their debut, and i still loved the way they used Knuckles in this episode, having him run behind Sonic and use the master emerald words, even though it really didn't help much.

Even if you ignore this guy's personal opinions, this episode went under the chopping block pretty badly.

I fear for Vector and Charmy's voices, though Charmy can't sound much worse than what Sega had for him. (Also, don't get too hyped. Since there's no Heroes adaptation, the Chaotix only appear in that episode.)

If they ever did made a Sonic Heroes adaptation, then they'd had to expend the story a bit. Sonic Heroes isn't so rich in story as SA and SA2 had. Just imagine Chris bombarding in there. Heh.

I can't wait to see Shadow make his finally apperance in eposide 50. The eposide was great. I don't know why everyone at school hated it. The game was more emotional. The game made me cry myself to sleep. (I beat it at 1:30 in the morning.) It was great. Only one other person at my school liked it. This show earns the anime eposide of the month at my website.

He doesn't appear in episode 50, but it's more of a supernatural presence of himself than anything. I know that. Its just that he does show up in that eposide. Then they leave to go home. The last couple of eposides are gonna suck. I think the series is going down hill after the Sonic Battle arc is over.

To put a wrap on this great episode, I think the series improved dramatically over the "season three" strectch [Japanese seasons, 13 episodes we said over and over]. The real test starts at 40, and well see if the series deserved more episodes, Hell, it deserves more episodes even if it is bad. Now, let's move on to "Defective Detectives"
