Since the JL is such a great success on Cartoon Network and the later hour has drawn in a larger audience, do you think this will open the door to other similar series in the future? Maybe more solo Batman adventures or possibly the Marvel people will final realize that this is what televised versions of there characters should be. Stylized, good storytelling and not just Sat. morning kid stuff that has tons of marketability.

I cetainly hope so! It seems to me that CN is making a definate move to more mature animation, with Samuai Jack, Adult Swim and now JL. I don't know if this means we will be seeing every Timm series on the network (but I hope so!) but I do hope it opens the door to more. I'd love to see the new Spider Man series on CN. MTV was originally going to air, but now their animation studio is closed, so I hope CN can pick it up.

Maybe because it's not DC Comics that responsible for the success of BTAS, STAS, JL, etc.

Actually, Sony will be CGI animating the Spidey cartoon, with MTV buying the rights to the show. But I would love to see this show spill over to CN. In a way, I wish CN bought the rights to Saban so we'd get animated show slike the 1990's under-rated and extremely dark INCREDIBLE HULK and the 1990's SPIDER-MAN. And while the show wasn't that good, X-MEN would be something nice as well. But all those shows are now likely ABC Family bound.

I would love to see CN branch out and do more adult-oriented shows. A show based on SUICIDE SQUAD or DOOM PATROL would rock.

Personally, I'd like to see either:

1. Tales of the Green lantern Corps (anthology series with a different GL including all of the various alien races, each episode.
A nice chance for some SF that was not always earth centric.

2. A silver age costume Legion of Series done in a style similar to JL.

The word is that the new Spider-Man cartoon will tie into the Spider-Man movieverse. Interesting...

Also...there was that Captain Marvel toon in the works for a while.
