With the Batman Begins video game coming out, I wouldn't be surprised if Ubi Soft made another TNBA game.

EA has the Batman license now, so that proably out of the question.

Maybe. EA has the MOVIE license and Ubi has the ANIMATED license.

And Kemco, thankfully, has neither.

I'd like to see that. Both of the PS2 TNBA games have been great. It would be a good chance to see some of the other villains dusted off to be used - Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, and Two-Face are the most notable four unused villains thus far. Go with it!
The BATMAN BEGINS game that EA is working on looks snazzy thus far, too.

I think KEMCO has the comic license correct? Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Ubi Soft decides to make another TNBA Batman game what with "Batmania" next year.

I think that we will see "The Batman" game before we see a new TNBA game.

I think that we will see "The Batman" game before we see a new TNBA game. The rights to The Crapman haven't been bought and will never be bought. And to answer Batman's Biggest Fan's question, yes KEMCO does have the rights to the comic but they have said that they just plan on letting the rights expire for now.

^How do you know the rights to make a The Batman game will never be bought? Anyway what has Ubi Soft said about another TNBA game?

Anyway what has Ubi Soft said about another TNBA game?I'm just assuming the rights to The Batman will never be bought because A.The rights have not been picked up even though the offer has been laid out by WB interactive (Teen Titans has been up for sale as well but nothing so far.) and B.It's such a horrible cartoon I hope that it never gets translated into videogame form. Also Ubi might just be taking a while in getting a new project rolling. It took 2 years after Vengeance to get Sin Tzu. Ubi just doesn't sit on properties and does nothing with them. Be patient because if they're planning something it will be big because they know Sin Tzu was not the greatest game in the world and they need to try harder.

^Thanks, but Ubi Soft can still make a TNBA game if they want to right?

Unfortunately the more powerful "rights" to the title lie with WB - and I don't think there is a chance in hell they'll promote the old thrown out Batman show instead of the new one.
If you look at their philosophy with their comics (TNBA Batman Adventures cancelled so it wouldn't interfere/confuse with the popularity of "The Batman" comic) it seems unlikely they would U-turn and do the opposite in the games market...
I don't think the popularlity of the past two games will make any difference to the suits. I get the feeling they see Batman, as well, Batman... it's all the same right..? So if we do a video game, it would make sense that it promoted are current format of Batman rather than the one we've kicked in the trash..
Sad as life is.. *sniff*

Sad as life is.. *sniff*Don't be thinking like that. The Batman rights have not been sold so therefore TNBA games are a high possibility and with the obvious negative fan reaction to the new series I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a new TNBA game. Look at what Activision did with the Spider-Man game with the PSX, Unlimited came out during the beginning stages of the Spidey videogame and Activision non-hesitantly chose to go with the old series (Which was cancelled years before the game was created) with some comic book looks substituted for some of the characters. Granted, WB has greater control over their licenses whereas, Marvel was in a pit and just wanted someone to get rolling on a good game. But my advice is don't rule anything out yet, Ubi still has the license so don't think that it's over. And to answer Westlander's question, Batman Vengeance was available for the PC.

My god, I wish they'd cancel that show. It's just not..... Batman comic or otherwise.Actually from what I hear it's based on the 70s Batman comic which focused on humanizing Bruce Wayne;featured Bruce Wayne as living in an apartment in the middle of Gotham and from what I hear both have the same story structure.

The only places that I see negative fan reactions are on the net. Ubi would have to be stupid to not want to cash in with a video game when they see the toy sales and ratings this show is getting. I thought that Activision Spidey game was just a regular Spidey game that didn't take place in form of pre-established continunity but took elements from various comics and tv shows to create their own continunity. Besides Spiderman Unlimited didn't really get any ratings.

I agree the second game was also good but..I think great is going a little far myself, I saw it as a BIG step backwards. Don't get me wrong I LOVE brawlers...but they usually just don't work in 3 demensions unless they are a little less linear (like the combos all looked cool but they did the same amount of damage whoopsy Ubi Soft! :p )
