I finally got hard proof (http://www.nick.com/blab/write_nick/) that Nick is brainwashing kids into watching their network. Look at the middle response. Everyone called me crazy......YOU CALLED ME CRAZY! WELL, WHO'S CRAZY NOW, HUH? WHO'S CRAZY NOW?!

(Reads the letters)
Well, the first response forgot about PBS (though their "funds provided by" spots at the beginning /end of the shows are pretty much commercials these days)... and their shows are probably more redeeming than their likes of "Keenan and Kel"....
As for the second letter, uh....no clue what *that*'s about....though mind-control might be a good guess....

Hmm...."Warner Academy 3: Nick *IS* Kids....and Your Master!: The sibs take on the wrath of the Viacom megaconglomerate, pitting Axel Foley against his Paramount Studios masters and the sibs against the likes of the more-popular-than-they-are "Rugrats"...don't miss it!" Nah...

Aww, why not? I'd just like to see Dot show Angelica who's really cute! :D

Not sure I (or others on this forum that'd write such a thing) have enough of a bone to pick with Viacom....though I guess between Nick's treatment of A!/PatB, some of Nick's lesser traits, the fact that they also own MTV, and that Viacom (via Paramount) own UPN, made "Star Trek: Voyager", and Dr. Laura's short-lived TV show (and probably have all manner of other facilities/aspects they own that I don't recall off the top of my head), I guess there's plenty of fodder to use to go after them in such a story.... :-)

DREW: My little angel is *so* adorable...and well-behaved!
ANGELICA: That's right! And *I'm* cuuter than *you* are! (Begins singing way off-key)
DOT: Uh-huh. (To the camera) This could get ugly, folks....

I'm scared, yet it seems to explain a lot. =x

Nick is cable television, not network television! They don't have to have commercials because cable is an outragously expensive service! Even CN has too many ads and they only have two commercial breaks!

Two-pronged joke--Tress MacNeille voices both Dot and Angelica's workaholic perpetually-with-a-cell-phone mother...I see possibilities.
Maybe there's something buried in that logo on the right-bottom-hand corner of the screen...sort of like the X-Files ep with the subliminal messages buried in the bars of test patterns.
BRAIN: Of course. The orange light in the graphic strobes at a particular frequency imperceptible to the conscious mind...but exposed to it over long periods of time, the juvenile mind is reduced to porridge.
PINKY: Oh, look, Brain...it's a logo what looks like that nice Mr. Gobbles fellow! [makes loud turkey gobbling noise, "poit"s, and rolls over clutching his belly and laughing inanely)
BRAIN: [teeth gritted]: Case...in...point.
Of course, I'm more of a Beaver man, though as of late I've really gotten into Spongebob (Squidward is a riot)....

The subliminal messages are stronger now, yet more obvious. It's sad, though. I'm talking about that Jimmy Neutron person who pops out of the logo--EVEN WHILE THE SHOW IS GOING ON-- and uses his hypno-beam...on us! I saw him do it once, and never saw him do it again. I guess you only need one time to get millions of kids under your control...

Uggh. Whose bright idea was it to put ads in the middle of the show, anyway?

The same guy who decided to plaster Nick logos all over the intros to PatB and A!.
