WOW!!!!!!!!!

That black and white drawing with Martha is a definite classic. In my humble opinon, a work of sheer brilliance. Hits the nail straight on the head. And sums up this intricate balance between Bruce,Batman and Martha. You know, this reminds me of the scene in MOTP, where Bruce is kneeling down in front of his parents grave, begging them to 'forgive' him, and when he looks up, the massive tombstone looms ominously over him. With thunder dramatically flashing in the backdrop, the tombstone seems to do nothing less than order him to keep his vow. It was the first time,I for one, got the sense of Martha and Thomas' strong grip on their son. It simply summed up to this, it was as if Martha and Thomas were living Bruce's life for him.

And here, having Martha as the culprit, and Bruce a puppet to both Batman and his mother is just...wow! Great Work guys!:)

Nice comparison - certainly that sort of psychological found in MotP has been a big inspiration for this story.

Oooo! I love the cover! Martha Wayne puppeteering everything adds such a nice twisted and cynical touch. My curiousity is dying to find out WHO is the REAL person behind all this mayhem! Finally, questions will be answered! Whee!

Certainly is a great cover! I couldn't believe it when James showed me it. It lays out the point of the story to a tee. Wait till you guys see it in color!!

The website was massively updated today. Along with cleaning up the layout, new wallpaper was added! Aswell as some more previews/promos of issue #12! The new wallpaper is from the cover of the last issue. Click the little thumbnail to enter to site.

I hate it when people say stuff like that! Are you TRYING to kill us with anticipation? :D

Not at all. Never heard of the "Bloody Martha Puppet on a Bat Puppet road show"? Very big in the West I heard. I heard Bruce Wayne based his alter ego on it.

So do I. Total git's I believe is a non profane description of those darn creators....

In all seriousness, it's the opposite for me. I've had this ending in my head for almost an entire year. It's great to finally see it all played out.

Looking forward to the conclusion.

I think this all has something to do with Mad Hatter playing tricks on Bruce's mind, or something to that effect. Scarecrow perhaps?

Ooooo! Sweepstakes! :D Not telling, but nice to read the speculation! Must finish those pages this week! *toil*, some other work has just meant I've had to throw DKA on the back burner for a day or two, but I reckon we'll still make the deadline *crosses fingers*

It's going to be great to finish this story eventually, it's been a long run and patience has been a virtue for readers and staff to let this wind up maturely rather than being rushed to a conclusion. I hope it doesn't disappoint!
