alright - for some reason, I have no idea how to get Sims 2 up and running. I have it loaded onto my computer and everything seems to work fine up until the point where I click on a neighberhood. It goes to load the neighberhood and after it is down loading, it trys to get the neighberhood up on the screen but...it just can't. The control panel at the lower right hand screen pops up on the loading screen and...argh i dont know. I dont know if it has something to do w/ my proccessor, my graphics card, whatever. i'm pretty sure I have enough space on my computer for it - cause if I didn't, I wouldn't even be able to download it. help?
thanks

Now that's what happens when a lamer gets his hands on pirated software.
Moddies, lock it, trash it. We don't support piracy here, do we?

Nope, we don't.
Edit: Ok, misscommunication: he meant he was installing it to his PC, not downloading it. He bought the game...but it wasn't installing right.

I don't think anyone here will be able to help you with something like that. Go to EA's tech support site:

my brother was looking at this game and i believe there are two versions. a regular cd version and a dvd version. if you bought the dvd version and you don't have a dvd capabilities on your computer, i'm not sure it will work correctly
just a thought. don't quote me on it because i'm no computer expert
