Or does Hawkgirl remind any of you like Bam Bam?

I'm serious. Not so much through "In Blackest Night", but all through the pilot, I half expected her to shout "bam bam bam!". >shrugs< Maybe it's just me. She's pretty cool though. Could kick my ass in a second, that's for sure. :)

I really like the rough nature of Hawkgirl - she takes no prisoners and seem sunforgiving! I really like that! This development in her character will definatly be interesting as the series progresses. Will she continue to act rash? Who knows...

I think she rocks too, it's just she reminds me of Bam Bam when she swings that mace and growls the way she does. >shrugs< It's probably just me. but give her a leperd-skinned dress and a wooden club, and I could see the resemblence. :D

Have any of you guys read a comic book called The Authority? In the series, which features a JL-like team, they have a winged female character named Swift. Ever since the JL lineup was announced I kind of thought that Hawkgirl's membership was a nod to that (The Authority is published by Wildstorm Comics, which is an imprint of DC).

Any thoughts?
