Now this is what X-Men episodes are all about! Not only did we get to see Alpha Flight but we got to see Wolverine in his Weapon X glory. They could only show so much of the original procedure and make it as kid-friendly as possible but they do a good job here. This is really one of the best episodes or the series and does the character great justice.

And Cal Dodds delivery of "No more labs" is pitch-perfect, both fearful and angry.

Disney made a big mistake not putting this episode on the Wolverine themed DVD the releases awhile back. This episode is all about Logan except for the brief scene with the Professor X/Magneto subplot.

This episode is one of the 5 included on the region 2 only Wolverine's Story DVD.

Which is great for me, as I live in region 2, but sucks for everyone else.

This is arguably the best Wolverine focused episode the series did. It was awesome seeing Alpha Flight, and learning what happened to Wolverine after he escaped from Weapon X. It would've been cool to see Xavier meeting Logan for the first time, but alas, can't have everything.

Still, such a brilliant episode!

That would have made a great scene plus it would have been a nice counter to the scene in the episode where Logan accepts the position and puts on his costume for the first time. Turning around the showing the scene we see in Giant Size X-Men #1 would have been really nice to see.

It definatly would've been cool. Perhaps they didn't want to show a softer side to Wolverine or something. I doubt it though, considering his characterisation in Lotus And The Steel and Cold Vengeance.

Out of the many Wolverine focused episodes this show did, I think this is my favourite.

Out of the many Wolverine focused episodes this show did, I think this is my favourite. This was definitely the strongest Wolverine-focused episode. It actually covered alot of bases for the show and held incredibly true to the comics. And while the episode did deal with his bezerker rage, I thought The Lotus & The Steel was the weakest Wolverine-centered episode.

It wasn't brilliant or anything, but I enjoyed it. Great music too.

There's been a ton of great Logan episodes. Weapon X, Lies and Videotapes, Red Dawn, even the Captain America team up. But Repo Man is simply better than the rest of them.

I wouldn't call it the best Wolverine episode. Don't get be wrong, I think "Repo Man" is great, but it really pales in comparision to "Nightcrawler". Maybe it's beacuse I already knew the Wolverine backstory in the comics (whereas "Nightcrawler" was something new), maybe because I don't really like Alpha Flight, or maybe it was just overexposure of the character. Nevertheless, this episode is still one of the better ones. Some great scenes here, especially the ones with Wolverine's post-adamantium-bonding memories, along with nice voice acting from Cal Dodd (his delivery of "Why did they do this to me?" really expresses Wolverine's sorrow... especially since we don't really see much of it in the show, not in such open form at least).

Not as good as "Nightcrawler" or "Cold Vengeance", but still a great episode. I give it 4 points out of 5.

I always considered Nightcrawler more of a shared-spotlight episode between the title character and Wolverine. It is one of the best episodes overall from the entire cartoon. If memory serves I think the guy who wrote that episode was even interviewed by Toonzone about that very episode. I'm a big Wolverine fan and Repo Man always had a little extra to it. I was really excited when the episode opened with Wolverine yelling "Heather!"

When they tackled his faith in Nightcrawler I was really interested in that too. I thought they handled it almost flawlessly.

I can`t see how anyone whould see this as overexposeing wolvie? This was the first Xmen TAS. People who never read the comic needed to know how he got thoes metal claws. It also show why he don`t get along whit other and don`t like taking orders from cyke. It`s one thing think there other ep`s better then this, but to say it`s bad or overexpose is just wrong.

He's an incredibly popular character with a complicated backstory and I think he needed an extra spotlight episode or two. Personally I don't think it's overexposure either.

It's pretty much the same complaints that people have about the current Justice League cartoon. Everyone has different favorite characters and when they focus on one that isn't their favorite they get upset and scream "overexposure" and "unfair."

Well when you think about it you can take ahand count of how many ep`s wolvie was not in for on the other hand after the dark phoenix sega you can take a hand count of how many ep`s gambit show up in so I can udderstand why they fell the way they do but this ep in no way is overexpusing him espicaly sense season2 delt whit the char dealing whit their past. There were realy only 2 ep`s about wolvie past. The sabertooth, death strike and OMR ep`s should not count. A lot of people also forget this is a 12 year old series that had continuelty, but FF airs these ep`s out of order they don`t know that. At leats jetix try to air them in the order they orginaly should have air. When I saw repo man years ago, not only did I like wolvie more then I ever did, it made me understand him too.

For fans of Alpha Flight, how well did you think this series did with the group?

Damn... that scene where Logan breaks down still gets me. Cal Dodd was fantastic in this series - he really got the essence of Wolverine down pat.
