I've come to this forum as I think this is the right one to put it in - I need some help with the old Super Powers toyline. This is what got me into these superhero people in the first place. Apart from wanting to discuss them at length with people who loved them as much as I did (hello); I need to refresh my memory on some of their finer details. While links to some special Super Powers website with all the answers would be fantastic; I am quite sure I'd then have a few things to clarify and ask those with more knowledge about comics some of the figures came from. I got a lot of Super Powers logo adorned figures but wouldn't have a clue who they are now - I don't have any of them nor remember the name on the boxes when I got them.

So yeah in a nutshell if anybody here can tell me if they're clued up on Super Powers toys, please tell me.

Howdy,

I remember thinking the things were cool, but don't actually own any of them.

Kenner links to a bunch of places (http://www.kennertoys.com/action/suprpwrs.html), including Toy Otter's Super Powers Toy line archive (http://www.toyotter.com/sp/) and the Kenner Super Powers Hall of Justice (http://www.kennersuperpowers.com/).

Not that I want to chase you away from here, of course, but those look like the best places to look for checklists and history and stuff.

You should check out the comic series based on it. I read issue 2 a couple nights ago and really enjoyed the Jack Kirby art. I decided his Red Tornado is my favorite, now. The story also seemed smarter than I expected and tied into Jack Kirby's Hunger Dogs graphic novel.
