First of all I just saw the original trailer and I liked the music better. Because it wasn't digital. I miss the real orchestration.

Secondly what the heck happened to the themes!!!! I don't expect a theme for every character but I do for some things.

Both Superman and Batman had awesome musical themes that I associate with them. The fact they are gone is truly missed. Also the music just didn't sync well with the story.

In STAS and BTAS the music would crescendo or decrescendo with the mood. With big explosions or punches there would big accents in the music. I really miss the full orchestration these shows had which gave it such a rich sound.

The new JL theme isn't bad. But other than that a lot of the music is forgetable. For BTAS I remember Batman's theme Robin's theme Joker's theme etc. I dunno its just kinda depressing.

In S.O. the music seemed cheesy, to me. It seemed to have improved last night, however. I miss the Batman and Superman themes too. WE WANT SHIRLEY WALKER BACK!!! :)

Not only Batman and Superman, but every hero or villain had their own music which would play whenever they came on the screen. They dropped most of these themes on TNBA, and now it would seem that they're going to toss all of them out.

I love Bruce Timm's work (as well as the rest of the creative staff) but they have a really bad habit of starting each show completely from scratch--dumping both good and bad elements in favor of new elements.

If they would re-institute the type of orcastration and musical themes that the original Batman and Superman cartoons had I would be over-freaking-joyed.

The Batman Mask of the Phantasm score continues to be the quality I expect for any superhero cartoon. I realize that score had a larger budget since it was a feature film, however the essence of what that score was and the music featured on it used to be contained on the original batman animated series as well. Until that quality of score arrives on the JL I will not be satisfied.
