Out of curiousity, what ever happened to "The Brak Show"? Anybody remember that from last year? They only had two episodes, and that was it. What happened? It was a funny show.

It was a spin off of SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST and CARTOON PLANET, starring Brak and it came on sometime last year during February. It was a really funny show, but they only had 2 episodes. Anybody remember it?

I think that the only point of The Brak Show was to hype the CD which is, for some reason, called The Brak Album. This CD has most of the songs and sketches from the two shows. There were two Space Ghost CDs before this and they sold pretty well, so they did another and used the Brak Show as promotion. Sometimes they will run the first Brak Show in the Space Ghost slot on Sunday nights. I was really disappointed when I learned that it would be only 2 episodes, I thought that it would be ongoing. I hope Williams St. gets to make another series for CN soon, that Sealab stuff was great! And that thing with the talking fries and shake was funny too, and one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.

Too bad Cartoon Planet isn't on anymore. Used to watch that near religiously a few years ago, thought it was insanely, bizarely funny. Even emailed them for an autographed picture of Brak! Gotta write CN and see if they can give it a late night half hour a week. Would be nice.

you can thank the Cartoon Cartoon (overplayed)
shows for the demise of all the clasicc shows on CN.
lets hope CN will finally retire the CC shows that are no
long in production and the orginaly CC 3 eps Pilot eps that
have shows that should have been made adn didn't make
it.

Good news, folks! I've found answers to "What happened to the Brak Show" as well as my other post about the brand new SG that was on Sunday. From the site http://members.nbci.com/DailyGhost/

February 8, $20.01, updated February 20 - George (Space Ghost) Lowe has been reported as saying that eight new episodes of Space Ghost Coast to Coast have been ordered, along with twelve new episodes of a re-tooled version of The Brak Show. The comment was reported by a poster to the ghost-planet mailing list. The DGP has received other reports that Cartoon Network has ordered new episodes of Coast to Coast. Our crack research staff's previous theory about the schedule have been disproven. After showing King Dead (the last new episode shown) on March 25, Cartoon Network will not be starting with new episodes, but instead starting all over again with the first episode shown, Spanish Translation. Let's hope they don't go through all the episodes again before starting the new ones. The people responsible for the discredited theory about the schedule trend will be sacked as soon as the credits are over.

The new episode that was on Sun. seems to back this up, guys, so hopefully we have some more Williams St. coming our way.
