Ok, I still have issues with the Crisis. From what I gather, the heroes of the DC Universe don't remember the Crisis or the details. If they did, then they would know about things like Superboy, Supergirl, and the Silver Age Superman.

A lot of stuff was retconned after the Crisis. I get that.

But what about Barry Allen? He exists. Everyone knows that he died. Why they know about him but not Supergirl is another issue, but they know about Barry Allen's death. But while I constantly have seen references to Barry and that he was dead, what I haven't seen are references at to HOW he died?

Sure, do a search and it will pull up Crisis. But from the point of view of the heroes, what do they know about his death?

If you go by "Iris Allen's" The Life Story of the Flash and various other post-Crisis Flash Secret Files, then there was a Crisis; it just wasn't on Infinite Earths. Meaning that all that business with the Monitor and Anti-Monitor happened, and Barry still gave his life to ensure good would prevail and all that, but it was to save just the one universe from collapsing, as there weren't/aren't infinite universes in the post-Crisis retcon.

Debatably, the Post-Crisis version of Crisis could be more simply called "Crisis on Earth and Qward."

Is there any detailed explanation of the post-Crisis version of Crisis?
