Good show, but I can't look at Batman without noticing those lobsided ears. They are way out of place in his sleek and efficient costume and I see no logical reason for them. I take some consolation in that Bob Kane drew them that way, but it's not enough. Stupid ears.
Does anyone know what exactly is keeping Tim Daly so busy that he can't voice Superman? He was the perfect Superman voice and his replacement sounds like a muted version of Daly. Daly just has a better voice for animation. Not to mention he has superior range; every time I've seen this new guy do something in live action (fiancee in Father of the Bride and Danny the neighbor on Friends), it was a reserved performance for a one-dimensional character.
Also, where do I go to find the villain designs? I hear the Joker has gone back to his earlier look, which sounds great to me. I hated his black-eyed, de-humanized design. Most of the redesigns they made when they brought back the Batman animated series only served to make the show less realistic. And you can't take the show seriously without the realism that helped make it the success it was when it first premiered.
Oh, and by the way: What are they going to do about the supporting characters from the previous Batman and Superman series? You can't tell Superman stories without Lois Lane.
