<a href="http://wf.toonzone.net/jl/greenlantern4.jpg"><img src="http://wf.toonzone.net/jl/greenlantern4.jpg" border=0 hspace=3 vspace=3 align="right" height="200" width="289"></a> Tonight will be part one of the two part Justice League episode "In Blackest Night" Part 1, the first story with the heroes as a team. The episode will focus on the Green Lantern, but will also highlight The Flash, Hawkgirl, and Superman. Green Lantern is, as all fans know, the military-esque John Stewart version. In this animated version, John Stewart is apart of the classic Green Lantern Corps, a group of tough, no-nonsense space marine types.
The episode will air at 9:30pm (ET) tonight on Cartoon Network. The website <a href="http://www.***************.com">Comics Continuum</a> was able to talk to Bruce Timm about the two part episode.
"These are the guys who always shout, 'No man escapes the Manhunters,'" Timm told <a href="http://www.***************.com">Comics Continuum</a>. "It's kind of confusing because we have the Manhunters and the Martian Manhunter, although we never really call him that. We just call him J'onn.
"They're evil robots who are bounty hunters who have a pivotal role in the Green Lantern episode."
James Remar will do the voice of the Manhunter in the two part episode. Remar recently appeared in What Lies Beneath, and will appear in the upcoming movie Mortal Kombat 3: Domination.
