"Porky's Garden" (WB, 09/11/37)
"Big Chief Ugh-Amugh-Ugh" (Fleischer, 04/25/38)
"Poultry Pirates" (MGM, 04/16/38)
"Pilgrim Porky" (WB, 03/16/40)
"Injun Trouble" (WB, 05/21/38)
"I Yam What I Yam" (Fleischer, 09/29/33)
Well, the first "official" Popeye cartoon showed up, but not on The Popeye Show. Go figure.

Well, there just weren't many Thanksgiving B&W cartoons in CN's library, so they came up with:
"Porky's Garden" (WB)
"Big Chief Ugh-A-Mugh" (Fleischer)
"Poultry Pirates" (MGM)
"Pilgrim Porky" (WB)
"Injun Trouble" (WB)
"I Yam What I Yam" (Fleischer)

Brian:
Please merge my "Chickens and Indians" post into this thread, since it's on the same topic and you beat me to the sumbit button by a minute or so (and because it's your board, anyway...)

You can have the honors for the next few weeks. I just have too much free time at the moment. I need to start working harder! :D
And its actually Jon's board, I just host it.

Did anyone get "Pilgrim Porky" on tape? Because I really need a clean print of that for my WB cartoon collection and I didn't tape LNB&W last night.

I taped it. Glad I did too, my copy from LB&W last year looked really crappy.

"Injun Trouble" made it's premiere last night on LNB&W in case anyone didn't know.

In light of the PC world we live in now, were Pilgrim Porky (WB, 03/16/40) and Injun Trouble (WB, 05/21/38) edited for content or not?
Since they won't show Speedy at any hour, I wonder that "old time Indians" would be shown, albeit at 1AM

I can't believe I missed INJUN TROUBLE!!! And we were just talking about that cartoon recently, too. I keep forgetting to set my timer. I sure hope INJUN TROUBLE comes on again sometime this week before Thanksgiving.
What time does LNB&W come on, again?

No, both were uncensored. Although there is still that one cut everyone talks about. There seems to be an abrupt cut between Injun Joe chasing Porky with an axe, and right to Joe halfway done cutting the rock into the Statue of Liberty. Could this cut of been made before it's release, or is it just a splice in the print?

Aw, sufferin' succotash! I didn't bother taping last night because I thought I'd taped everything, and then they go and show "Injun Trouble", which I don't have! Glad they showed that one though, I doubt it's been on TV in black and white in a long time.

It's a splice. I have a public domain verison with no cut in it, that shows them running up the side of the Statue of Liberty.

Man, this was a great night. I've never seen "Pilgrim Porky" before and I got it uncut as well as "Injun Trouble." I haven't seen this cartoon in several years. Also, I finally got a better version of "Porky's Garden" since the version, which was in B&W, I originally record was in poor sound (I recorded it wrong) and I didn't get the opening titles. "Porky's Garden" was the 3rd cartoon I've ever recorded. I recorded it this summer.
