Here's the preview tape vesion of the JL title sequence, which is a series of storyboard shots set to the JL theme. It's a RealVideo 8 file, so make sure you have RealPlayer (http://www.real.com/player/index.html?src=downloadr) (the free version is at the bottom of that page). This is a 1.2MB file. Please right-click on the link and download it to your hard drive.

Wow, that was pretty cool. I liked that more than the CGI and I think that maybe if they had just added some more drawings to that to make it flow better or animated that then it would have been perfect.

I agree, that was much better than the CGI sequence.

I prefer it myself, too. I like it becuase, compared to the computer colored cartoons of today, it has that retro feel becuase it wasn't computer colored, which is such a change, a very welcome one.

The 3D CGI thing doesn't match with the series at all. I was shocked when I saw it. I think I remember reading an interview in which Bruce Timm said he hated CGI mixed in with his stuff (I could be wrong). But if I'm right then it sure looks like he changed his mind.
P.S. Thanks for the clip.

I haven't seen the preview yet, but the title sequence wasn't too bad. Different, yes. Very unlike the title sequences from B:TAS, TNBA and TNSA, all of which I liked. I can think of better ways of doing it, but I can live with it. I've watch the title sequence a number of times and come to appreciate its unique nature. THe music didn't really strike me at first viewing of SO, but after watching the opening a number of times, it has grown on me.

Thanks Brian! LOVED the preview title sequence.
I agree completely, Flash - the cgi doesn't work or fit at all.
