More than one Avengers/Ultimates DTV on the way, eh?
Here's a link to Spider-Man's thread (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?p=1486894#post1486894) on the EB if anyone's wondering where this news is from.
I can't wait until we hear more news on the Iron Man DTV. I'm still wondering if ol' Shellhead's DTV would be 3D animated, since his metallicness and reflectiveness would lend itself wonderfully to CG. I wouldn't mind if the Hulk DTV was traditionally animated, but CGI would also be cool too.
And let's not forget about the Fantastic Four cartoon that's on its way, can't wait til we see some more on that down the line...

I wonder what they mean by "2D/3D format." Are we talking some DTVs in 2D, some in 3D? Or a mixture of the two in all, a la 90's Spidey: TAS, Futurama, etc?
Either way is cool, but if it's the former, here's hoping they make the right choices for the right franchises. As screw on head mentioned, 3D would be aces for Iron Man, but unless they did something startlingly new and innovative (and pricy, don't forget pricy) with it, 3D animation for the Avengers would make baby Jesus cry.
