...as part of a Friday premiere over here. And the three things I'll say about this ep are in the box:
1. I already saw this ep, when it was the PPG ep "The Bare Essentials". That said, it ain't every day you get to see a four-fingered Number 5. Or a CG Number 1, and so on. But nice touch with the evil children being portrayed as a 5-headed monster in Numbers 3 to 5's versions.
2. C'mon, I could tell what the box they were getting had by the time they were showing Number 2's version of the incident. I mean, the box's shape, size, the mention of Hoagie's weakness? Let's just say I didn't have to wait to hear Number 5 say "Anchovies" to figure it out.
3. The KND really like treehouses, don't they? Their moon HQ (also seen in "Quiet") is in the form of a tree, and there was also this ep with some guy living in a treehouse in the middle of a highway interchange...

How can you watch Kids Next Door? I can't stand that show. That Number (I'm sorry, Numbah) 1 p*sses me off. He thinks he's so cool. God, there's a CN banner at the top of the page right now with the blue turtle from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the kid with the red, white and blue mask from Mucha! Lucha! (WTF?), Atomic Betty, Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls, either Ami or Yumi (the pink-haired one) from Hi! PuffyAmiYumi and Raven from Teen Titans. And, of course, Numbah 1 has to be in the middle thinking he's so cool. And his head looks like Arnold's from Hey, Arnold!, one of the craptastic shows in Nickelodeon's craptacular library. And the animation blows.

Can't you watch something better, like anime, or at least Justice League Unlimited? Not that I watch that, but I'm just using it as an example. Now, Megas XLR, that's a cool show.

His name's Ricochet. Not that I actually watch the show, but CN use to promote the heck out of it over here.

Hey, HA! is another one of my faves (why won't Nick let it finish properly?). And so what if the animation blows? It works for me. I love HA! and KND.

Well done, buddy. Well done.

I don't really like Codename Kids Next Door either, but I'm not about to go into a pointless rant about it to make the author of the thread feel bad for no reason. Like most every Totally Spies topic.

Wow, you must really hate the show.

I think I need to check who made HA! in the first place, to check why No. 1's head looks like Arnold's. And it ain't crap. All that "crap" Nick has has been giving Nick those good ratings. It's only now that CN gets some attention. Nick's been in the spotlight for a long time, Disney longer (it's been letting, especially when Disney-Pixar relationship busted).

Though I do think some of their shows are a complete waste. Use some smart humor folks.

And also, anime hasn't been on a primetime weekday slot of years dude. All us anime fans here hope it does, but all the anime when Toonami was on til 7 on weekdays doesn't count as primetime.

First time you watched it Rover? It's been on for a couple a months now.

Later....good thing I'm off tommorow. :p (Although I ain't off Election Day. :crying: )

I'm indifferent to KND, but no matter who you are, posting in a thread about a show JUST to bash it and tell someone they shouldn't be a fan is babyish and stupendously lame.

There are plenty of people who think the same thing of megas that you think of kid's next door.

Those guys who made Party Wagon, Snee-Oosh Inc. (first season co-produced by Games Animation). Apropos Party Wagon, are there any regular kids (as in, not animation junkies) out there who liked PW and want it to be a series (as Bartlett had had in mind when he made this to begin with)?

Been watching it for several months, actually. Quite hilarious to watch.

Report was hilarious. Fav quote: "Number Fourku!!!" But it seems this topic isn't really about Report...
Ah...
Kids Next Door is pretty good.
Hey Arnold! rocks.
Anime and action shows are better than both.
But I'm still gonna watch all the above.

Just like that, I've killed the thread.

Well, I never thought I'd actually see one of these people who bash cartoons and think of anime as all things good and holy. That's what turned me off to anime in the first place. Seriously, you shouldn't hold your opinions above others.

And I LOVED Operation: REPORT. Especially Numbuh Five's part:

I loved that hommage to Sheep in the Big City! I was taken by surprise, on that one...

That IS what I'm saying. If you think that any of Nick's shows have good animation, then you must be on somethin'.

"Operation R.E.P.O.R.T." is a personal favorite of mine. It provided a great homeage to the various styles of cartoons audiences have seen over the decades. Numbuah 1's sequence recalls the CGI styles that have been seen in the Questworld segments of the Real Adventures of Jonny Quest and "3D Homer" on the Simpsons. Numbuh 2's segment harks back to comic book superheroes. Numbuh 3's was most childlike, most like how young children's school drawings in grade school look. Numbuh 4's was high-intensity anime style. As for Numbuh 5, I don't think it was exactly in the style of Sheep or Kablam (didn't watch either series that much), but more retro like some of the old Pink Panther toons. It certainly had that jazzy, psychadelic feel of the 60's in terms of music and visual FX. Of the 5 segments, that was my overall favorite.
