I'm not talking about the stuff that's just a plain eyesore like in Blue Sub #6 (sorry Blue sub fans but it's true.)I mean like in 8th MS team, or in BGC2040, where the CG looks completly natural and almost blends seemlessly with the normal stuff?

well, it is alot to go into. and i agree that blue sub, while very enjoyable and ambishious w/ the cgi and cell animation, could have used it better.
but since i'm no expert, i'll recomend "The emporer's new groove" dvd. theres an extra on the making of it, and it give a brief but very informative demonstration of how the cgi is merged w/ the cell animation in the movie. check it out if your interested. peace.

Yeah, I saw that... I was honestly surprised to learn that things like Pacha's cart and the sack containing the KO'd Kuzco were completely CGI creations. Disney is the master at blending cel and CGI.
