...Toonheads wasn't on this week in favor of Justice League.

I couldn't have taped it because mother wants to tape TWO other (non-toon) programs at the same time as The X-Files... :o

Aw, heck with that... howzabout putting a tuner card in yer computer and you can put everything on yer hard drive? Who needs all them MP3s anyways? :D

I'll tell ya, a TiVo (http://www.tivo.com/) would fit right in at my folks' house...pausing a live program is something they'd need to do any day!

But honestly, these third programs don't come along that often. This one was on the Travel Channel about the Statue of Liberty and its hidden features (updated to account for 9/11...)

Annnnd, if I were taping things that much, I wouldn't have the time to watch all of them anyway! I need to get out more... :mad:

I've got a tuner card. It's not worth it unless you have a fast processor. My AMD K6-2 333 Mhz. system doesn't do much, even with 160 MB of ram.

With any luck, my next system will be a Celeron 1 Ghz. w/512 MB of ram and an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon.(Not enough cheese for a P3 or P4)

My almost-assembled new puppy has a 1.3 gig AMD Athlon with as much memory as I could afford and an 80 gig hard-drive, 16 x (write) Yamaha CD-R, 12x DVD and as much else as I can pack in that case. Video card ? ATI Rage Fury Pro (32 meg). Tuner card? Yep. External 250 Zip drive (USB). I'm crossing my fingers for no conflicts... :eek:

Now to just get a faster internet service... :mad: Siiiiiiigh (been a long time since I siiiiiiighed here) :)
