I was amazed when I went on this forum that people buy so many games each month so I like to see how many games some of you have.

I have about 120+ games (lost count and I didn't want to start over). I only really started to get into video games when the time the N64 was release, I think 96 or 95.

I'm at the library right now, so I don't know the exact number. I have about 50 or so; that's not including the Atari (which one I can't tell you) and the VIC 20 and the Mac Power PC/iMac and the games I've rented. That's like.. well over.. 200 or so.
Started buying in 1984. Well, not me but my parents did. I now buy them myself or ask them for birthday/Christmas/Easter gifts.

I still have most of the games I've ever owned but I'm not a gamer so I still have less than most people here. I'd say I own maybe 50 games (Genesis, Playstation, Gamecube, Gameboy, Gamegear) with computer games I think it would be 75

I say about..50. Not counting any that I have sold off(Which is plenty).
I got into gaming around the SNES era, though I was too young to be serious about it (I'm 15 right now). I got serious in the N64 era, and more so in the Gamecube era.
I lost alot of my SNES games though, mostly cause of moving.

God, I don't know how many I have. Probably in excess of 300+ possibly even more than that. I've been collecting for a while. About 85-86.
C64, NES, Genesis, Game Gear, Game Boy, SNES, Gameboy Color, GBA, PC, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube.
I know that I have probably over 100 games for my Commodore, and about 60-70 NES games, about 30 N64 games, 20 Genesis games, 20 GB-GBC-GBA games, 10 SNES games, 10 PC games, about 10 Dreamcast games, and somewhere around 10 Gamecube games. That's pretty close to 300 right there. Of course these are only estimates.
See my IGN list (http://users.ign.com/collection/Yengwa) (link fixed) for a list of my games. Not all of them are on there either, because I don't have the time to add them all and most of my C64 games aren't listed nor can I remember all of them.

The Dreamcast era is only when I really started to purchase games with my own cash. The NES, PC, and N64 games I received before '99 were mostly gifts, but I did purchase some before then. My first console was recieved in 1989 at my 4th birthday. Needless to say, I haven't looked back yet.

Well, you can view my Collection (http://users.ign.com/collection/Islann) there. According to that, I have 93 games. Hopefully I'm not forgetting about any. I've started collecting about 1994.

How many? No idea. Enough to keep me occupied.
When did I start buying them? Well let's see, I started playing in '79, but was only 5 or 6 at the time, and hadn't any money of my own to spend. Even as I got older and started earning a few dollars here and there, I'd generally spend that on MLPs and other nifty toys, and just play the games that Dad and Jim bought.
So... well, no, I have it. The first game I bought was Pitfall Harry 2. When did that come out?

Right now I have exactly 200 games not counting the one or two games we had on the Atari. I'm guessing the collection started back in the mid 80's when my older brother got an NES.

Thanks, chief! I knew I could be lazy and wait for someone to come up with the date for me.
So. I began buying games back in '83.
And I spent about 4 million hours trying to dodge those friggin' bats.
