All of the parents on Rugrats, because they're so darn stupid, and are raising their kids horribly! That has angered me for years. :mad: :sweat: :anime: :gir:

Any parent, or any adult authority figure for that matter, are worthy of hate. They're always punishing the young. Children and Teens should Not Be Punished For Any Reason Whatsoever! Of course, they should know not to do certain things that could harm them or cause harm to others automatically.

I don't know if he counts as a "parent", but I've always HATED Eustice from Courage the Cowardly Dog. In fact, he's the reason why I didn't like the show much at first. Muiral (or something like that) is incredibly sweet and kindly, but all he does is be cranky and yell "Stupid dog!".

As for "actual" parents, I can't think of any that I particularly don't like. They may not be the most responsible of characters, but they all seem to care for their children dearly.

I would say Oscar Proud from the Proud Family. He never let's Penny date or do anything and he's a cheapskate as well. Trying to find ways to earn money the easy way! No Wonder he always get's harassed by everyone even by his own kids! Evil man, Indeed! :mad: :mad:

Why are all the fathers on cartoons idiots? (Homer, Peter, Mr. Turner, etc.) I know it can be hilarious at times, but has it ever occured to them to make the dad...somewhat intelligent? How about a moronic wife for a change?:sad:

Anyone who watched the old Tom and Jerry cartoons would get this one. Remember the parents that always had that 50's styled babysitter watch the baby when the parent went out? Tom and Jerry put up with so much crap for keeping the kid safe, yet they're the ones to blame at the end. Those outcomes were not funny, HB.

Well, since people here are remarking on how stupid some dads are, i'd like to mention the parents of Dexter's Lab. I've noticed how so many times weird things happen to Dexter and DeeDee but yet the parents think nothing of it. They think EVERYTHING is fine and dandy and completely natural. Mostly its the dad. There's another cartoon where the parents are complete morons, but I cant for the life of me think what it is. They're worse then dexter's lab. Cant remember who it is. They're just completely oblivious to the weird stuff that happens around them.

Ya yeah, i know this topic is about parents you hate. But im just saying Dexter's parents are morons. But i do love them. Specially the dad, he owns.

Aside from the parents on the PRoud Family and Fairly Odd Parents (They're almost Villaneous characters in my eyes), i think Atomic Betty's Mom is pretty cold and uncaring.

Timmy's parents may make a lot of mistakes and never be around a lot of the time, but the two TV movies show that they definitely care for him.

How about who ever are the parents of the members of the ScoobyDoo gang. Do they have any supervision at all come on. Rugrats Parents they are so dumb. Denis the Mence needed a good beating the nerve of that kid his parents have no control.

The Scooby gang is at LEAST college-aged, so they don't need supervision. Besides, their parents were in some episodes of A Pup Named, if I remember correctly.

Timmy's parents (Fairly Oddparents) - Really dumb, rude, and ignorant.

Jimmy's dad (Jimmy Neutron) - The pie and duck thing is getting old. Plus, I don't really like his voice - it's kinda annoying.

Okay is this dislike as in hate them for what they represent and how they act... or the character themselves?

I'll go for hating the characters.

-Dr. Quest is a pretty bland character who lacked any connection with his son... or any other character on the show really.
-Billy's Dad from Billy and Mandy is sort of meh. They were real original with Mandy's parents, and Billy's more is awesome. But with Billy's dad they just kind of made a grown up Billy. I guess this is a little unfair since I'm basing this on how great the other characters were.
-I loath modern Homer very much so, mostly because he has almost no connections to his family at all (especially Maggie). It feels that he just serves certain roles at certain times for the sake of the story.
-Original leg only parents from FOTP, concept we've already seen on Cow and Chicken (Love the mom and dad on C&C). I'm glad they made Mom and Dad into really funny dynamic characters who have a real edge to them in how stupid and neglectful they are.
-Any parents of the characters on Sealab. We've seen some of the cast's parents a few times as throw away gags. The only funny gag involving a character's parent was the original Tornado's parents gag.

Homer&marg really has became some awful parents over the years. I dought they even know maggie exsit.:sad:
