i'm sorry about using that term but i don't there was any other way to explain it. my choice would be "While You Were Sleeping" starring Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman. i just really liked this movie and loved the piano music that was played when Bullock and Pullman were walking together. this movie sets around Christmas and has a happy ending so it is perfect movie to watch during the exploitation that is Christmas. you really don't see "nice" movies anymore.

I've heard people call Bridget Jones' Diary a "chick flick" tho I think of it as more of a British comedy, so I enjoyed that one quite a bit.
And while it may not be a movie, I also enjoyed the TV series The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd.
I also enjoy Sex and the City, another TV show that could be considered more like a "chick flick."

Bridget Jones' Diary was great! Though as far as chick flicks... does Don Juan de Marco count? I love that one...

'Bridget Jones' was hysterical! I don't think it it's really a chick flick
since I heard many guys in the audience laughing at it too.
Other favorite chick flicks include 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', 'Roman Holiday', 'Ever After', 'Say Anything...', and 'Sleepless in Seattle'.

otherwise known as "16 Candles" and "Pretty In Pink".
One other note:
I love this movie personally myself, but would "Basic Instinct" count as a chick flick?
Sincerely,

Tho I also don't know if this could be considered an official "chick flick" but it strikes me as one somewhat...The Accidental Tourist. A classic.

Oh, I don't know, querida--I think you'd enjoy Sins...or my new favorite, Kate's Addiction. "What's a little sex between friends?"

Notting Hill, Miss Congeniality, amd Where the Heart Is( not even sure if this is considered a chick flick, but I enjoyed it at any rate!)
America's Sweethearts had it's moments, but overall, it was bad!

I really don't consider movies like Miss Congeliality "chick flicks." My definition of chick flick is a bit more specific. To describe it is more in the Freddy Prince Jr catagory.
I only like two of those teen based chick flick movies, and the two are Can't Hardly Wait (above all else) and Cruel Intentions.

is "Earth Girls Are Easy". It's a "chick musical", I would put it.

...who just saw "Earth Girls..." co-star and "Animaniacs" voice Julie Brown lose on "The Weakest Link".
