It's more to do with Warner Bros. wanting CN to be the official home of Looney Tunes than to do with Nick pulling it off the line-up.

In 1997 Viacom(Nick's parent company) sold the rights to the Looney Tunes shorts from the mid 1940's to the early 1960's plus the the early Porky Pig shorts & "Invasion Of The Bunny Snatchers" which Nick did show on their Looney Tunes show to Time Warner(Cartoon Network's parent company) which shown only Looney Tune shorts from 1930's to the mid 1940's making CN until now the home of Looney Tunes.

But still, Looney Tunes has a connection with Nick. Looney Tunes has a association with Hanna-Barbera, and Hanna-Barbera is apart of Paramount, and Paramount is the company of Nick.

Guess who bought out Hanna-Barbera?
That's right, Cartoon Network.
This was a long time ago, I don't see why complain when its now owned by CN. And you get it on Boomerang
