DinoThunder, Power Up!
White Ranger, Dino Power!
It's Morphin' Time!
Last time, on Power Rangers DinoThunder!
With Trent's favorite artist in town, the forces of evil conspired. They always conspired. With the Rangers sucked into the comic book universe, Trent had to save the day! Good thing he can draw himself out of a paper bag.
Episodes airing this weekend (ABC Family Jetix)
Saturday
8.0 Power Rangers DinoThunder "Drawn Into Danger"
8.5 Power Rangers DinoThunder "House of Cards" WORLD PREMIERE
Sunday
11.0 Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers "Zedd's Monster Mash"
11.5 Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers "Trick Or Treat"
Power Rangers DinoThunder "House of Cards" WORLD PREMIERE
Ever since Trent became the good White Drago Ranger, he's had to keep the secret of his father's alter-ego, um... a secret. While the Rangers would help exile Mesogog from Anton, Mercer would rather take care of it himself. But all that goes down the drain when a new monster spills the beans to the DT Rangers.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers "Zedd's Monster Mash"/"Trick or Treat" POWER PICK
You voted for 'em... here are two classic MMPR episodes devoted to Halloween.
Power Rangers DinoThunder "Drawn Into Danger", "It's A Mad, Mad Mackeral", "Copy That"
Go check their talkbacks.
Weird Power Ranger Fact Of Life-
The Power Rangers appear to be public figures in the PRU, and thus can be used in parody. So, some shady used car salesman (Cobra Commander) could have a "Power Ranger Power Sale", all while wearing spandex.
I always like it when Devin & Cassidy interact on their own with the DT Rangers.
I feel for Ethan & Devin.
Interesting. Anton feels Mesogog is taking over, while Mesogog feels Anton is taking over...
Sheesh, Tommy COMPLETELY missed his Morpher during the 2nd Morph.
Damn, Tommy looked uber-pissed off at the very end.

Man...
Those last scenes were intense. Sure, it was nice battling today, but the truly awesome part came with, well, the end.
So, Elsa is revealed to be Ms. Randall, Mesogog is revealed to be Mercer, and... Tommy is revealed to be P.O.'ed.
Somebody needs to get a screencap of those final scenes with Tommy pissed.
This episode makes me wonder how I'd react if I saw one of my teachers having a martial arts fight with my principal on the schoolgrounds... Kira's line about Tommy going to extremes to get the card back had my laughing out loud.
For a second there, I thought Trent would get away from spilling the beans this episode, but the way they had the team find out was definitely cooler than Trent just telling them his secret.
And next week: Tommy takes away Trent's morpher? This finale is going to own.
EDIT: Did the preview show Mesagog seperating from Anton, or were my eyes fooling me?? O_O

Well, the DinoGems are bonded. Maybe Tommy can just take away his bracelet, not allowing him to use the Hayley-made morpher.
Yeah, that was something I couldn't figure out. Why would Tommy continue the fight in front of the students? I actually thought Elsa was gonna get the card in Tommy's position, with the school board having to fire him or something...

I only caught the first few minutes becuse I had to go to work, but seeing Tommy and "Principal Randall" fight was pretty cool. I just loved how Tommy walked in at the right, or wrong, time. I also laughed when Connor wonders what they are fighting about, and Ethan said "she is Elsa." Makes me wonder if he knew that the entire time.
I can't wait until I get to see the rest of the episode later.
As for AbaRanger, well it is based off episode 46. AbareKiller is chasing after some guy and he gets trapped in a building that explodes. It turns out the guy is really an Evorian, and he is a big time psychic. Everyone is buying cards he sells, but it ends up brainwashing the people, and they are transported to flying boats where they will be swallowed up in some energy filed, causing the giant Evorian plant to emerge from the ocean. The rangers find this out and attack the monster, and AbareKiller appears in good health and helps to battle the monster. Monster grows, rangers use the combined dino attack (at least I believe they did), and monster goes boom. AbareKiller walks away from the rangers even though they thank him for their help. Meanwhile, Jeanne sends a transmission out, and Desu-Ruyuel sees what she is doing (see last week's Aba ep description to find out what happened next).

Well, when Tommy found out, he did use his communicator/DinoGem/Swiss Army Rock to tell Ethan to tell the others that Elsa is Randall.
Huh. You'd think there would be capability to tell everyone with those things...

Well I loved this episode. Tommy fighting Ms Randall was wild. Having them finally find out who she really is was good.
Elsa setting up Mesogog/Mercer with the card was a great bit of revenge/sabotage. She might get the upper hand yet.
But I kind of feel sorry for Trent. No real way he could win here. No matter what he did he'd have ended up betraying someone. A real no win situation. Though I do under stand why the others are so ticked off.
I missed the next episode preview. Did Tommy really take Trent's morpher?? They'll need his power to beat Mesogog for the finale I'd think. Would it be so difficult for them to empathize with Trent's plight? Well we'll see in the next few weeks I think.

They have him talk about taking Trent's morpher, but then it does show the White Ranger fighting, so maybe Trent gets it back. Also, they do show Mesogog and Mercer seperating from each other in the preview, so maybe Mercer will help the Rangers defeat Mesogog.

There's no comparrison to how great Pumpkin Rapper is. Forget to watch tommorows episodes and I'll take it as a personal insult.

Ah, yes, the Pumpkin Rapper. Back when rap wasn't dominated by... um... thugism?
Looking back, I've realized a few things.
Anton never answered that call. Ya think it was Elsa just planning to get him to pull the card out at the time?
Why would Tommy tell Ethan to tell the others? Why not go for Conner, or even the more-potentially-interesting Trent?
Still no Triceramax Trailer. There's only three episodes left.
The preview for "A Test Of Trust" shows the Rangers at Tommy's basement. That had to be one awkward as hell ride to his house.
Tommy's dealt with friends holding secrets before. The love of his half-life was Katherine, who started out as an agent of Rita.
So, why did Conner go Triassic Battlized to take out... Tyrannodrones? The Ruby Dragon's standing right there!

Sweet, the outdated-and-cheesy-for-its-time-anyway Pumpkin Rapper and the episode where Zedd plays God and brings back lots of dead monsters for kick-action. Sweet...
You know what's funny? As a kid, I went "yay!" whenever Zedd would bring one of Rita's old monsters back in other episodes besides this one and improved him/her, and yet noticed it as a weird but cool trend. I also DID know as a kid that Power Rangers was based off of something japanese, yet I never put went 2+2=4. I wasn't exactly a bright kid
BTW, I'm just now catching up on repeats, but does it seem like they make fun of Conner's over-powered-ness, with stuff like "THE PASSION OF CONNER", comments like "And just for kicks" before Battalizing, and today's fight agaisnt the Turannodrones? Perhaps a joke at the toy selling that forces them to beef Conner up and show it off all the time?
Although it is cool, cheese and all...GO GO MESSIAH RANGER! DRAGON YO-YO! SUPER STRETCH KICK! VICTORY IS OURS FOR ETERNITY-MORE!

Still no Triceramax Trailer. There's only three episodes left.Hmmm, if I'm right on the "wink wink, nudge nudge" behind the Battalizer, maybe the Trailer was something they had more leeway with and the Battalizer was something they were pushed/wanted to do more.
Myabe it'll show up at the last minute in the finale:
Tommy: "Oh, so THAT'S where it ended up after the island sank and blew up at the same time!"
Ethan: "Cool!"
Kira: "That's awfully convenient."
Trent: "Oookay..."
Conner: "Hmmm, this'll help."
Mesogog: "Shouldn't I be destroying some power-up's now?"
Zeltrax: "I hate you all."
Elsa: "I hate you all worse."

Shoujo, you made me think of something...
Maybe Bandai had a clause for DinoThunder to show the Triceramax Trailer at some point in the show. The producers/writers, not wanting to fudge a reason why the Rangers would have an 18-wheeler, film some quick glimpses with the Ninja Storm trailer and put it in the intro.
You might notice that the shots in the intro aren't it interacting with anything. You don't see it dodging blasts from Zeltrax, you don't see the Rangers dropping out their cycles from the back, or the Hovercraft Cycle leaving it, or the Rangers hopping in.
Speaking of the intro, I wonder if we'll get a revised one for the last three episodes, especially in the credits.
They could cut the "Mirama Smith as Elsa/Principal Randall" into just "Miriama Smith as Elsa", and revise the "Latham Gaines as Anton Mercer/Mesogog" into a different split-screen, to show the fact that they're split and it doesn't have the Elsa/Randall framing to play off of. Heck, they could even play up the "Trent's de-Rangered" and not have him morph in the intro, or cut him out of the cast pose at the end.
And, heck, they could always throw in clips of
the finalé's Mesomonster and Zelzord for good action...

Wouldn't be too surprised. DinoThunder's team has impressed me with their frequent updating of their opening, constantly getting cooler.
Of course, it might just be me being easily impressed by the overload of stock footage and individual action scenes played all at once with that great tune :D
Sure beats MMPRS1's great, but never-changing opening with just the first 5 rangers and only the Megazord.
Green Ranger: Man, I get none of the love-
Every Single Ranger Ever: Yeah RIGHT...

MMPR S1 did get a changed intro. They added Tommy, swapped up the Megazord at the end...
Speaking of which, where IS Zeltrax? It's been, like, 5 episodes since we've even seen him. They could've at least cut back to him at some point.

Okay,we've found the point of Principal Randall, but what about Cassidy and Devin? Are they Mercer's children?
For being the most popular game show in America, "Trick or Treat" doesn't have much of a stage. I think even Lingo was bigger...
Deadly Messiah
10-31-2004, 02:38 PM
Well I saw the whole episode, and it was cool. I just liked how Mercer's identity was finally revealed.
As for next week's preview, well, the monster is Desumodria in AbaRanger ep 48, and that was the episode AbareKiller died, and TopGaller (White Pteranadon) goes boom, so it is no surprise Trent is going to lose his powers.
As for the Best of stuff, I'm pissed. When I read the name Zedd's Monster Mash, I thought it was going to be the best episode ever made, the one with Zedd talking about various monsters, and then he has a party that were scenes from the wedding episode.
Mackaybear
10-31-2004, 05:48 PM
Well it would be kind of wild to see them riff a bit off of Aba ep 48's death of the White Abaranger. Let Trent take the DragoZord and give his life to stop the monster to prove to the others he really is a hero. Not that I think they'd really do that. Can't have a hero dying you know. But to make the ultimate sacrafice to "prove" himself a true Ranger would be kind of wild. Maybe enough of a shock to cause Mercer and Mesogog to split apart?
And to add to the wildness maybe have Mercer take up the white Dino Gem for the finale? Beat down Mesogog himself to avenge his son. While Tommy kicks Zeltrax's butt for good. And Connor uses the Battlizer to take down a jaywalker.
While Kira stomps Elsa and Ethan and Devin are off playing card games? Where's Cassidy you ask?? Getting her hair done maybe?
Ok not sure where all of that came from but any part of it would be memorable.
Nah they'd never go for that.
PR has had a "no hero dies" policy for a while now. We could always send Trent to a peace conference.:p
Deadly Messiah
10-31-2004, 06:42 PM
lol
Actually you are half right on that Mackaybear. The final battle in AbaRanger was Black and Yellow fighting Desumodoria in the evolved Evorian Armor (Zeltrax in PR), and Blue and Red were in the mechs fighting a giant Evorian statue (probably going to be Mesogog's zord).
Chad Bonin
10-31-2004, 07:29 PM
They COULD kill Trent (he wouldn't be the first Ranger to die), but my bet is that he'll lose his powers for the finalé. Not "Given Up", but "Mesogog Blew The Hell Out Of His Gem". I mean, Cam never morphed in "Storm Before The Calm"...

Skimmed through the episode one more time...
- Dang, Jason David Frank really did miss the morph key today. But hey, you try jamming a key into a keyhole at super speed. I tried today, and it's nigh-impossible.
- Speaking JDF... man, he WAS ticked at Trent. So was Conner and Kira and Mesogog. Seems like only Anton felt for him, and Ethan apparently couldn't care less, as long as he got his card back.

Man... after watching the second Power Pick... I've realized how completely different of a show MMPR and PRDT are.
Also, the Pumpkin Rapper. I think he is easily one of the MMPR's most memorable monsters, what with the Rangers awakening him... by rapping.
And it's funny to see Skull and Kim on the show together, against each other, when we all know years later the proper game show for them to be on would be "The Newlywed Game".
Speaking of the game show, how the hell was "Trick or Treat" the most popular game show in America? It's a seasonal show. You don't see "Christmas Jeopardy" ruling ratings in April...

Just finished watching the episode and... :o
This has been one crazy week. First my power goes out, and just now I got to see Dino Thunder. This episode had a lot of highlights. Principal Randall/Elsa did well this week. That was funny how she all play principal to Ethan and Devin. How she bitterly gives them false hope and then takes the cards anyway. Classic.
Ethan seemed a little over obsessive about the card, so Tommy goes to Randall's office to introduce the first plot twist of the evening. "I knew there was something I didn't like about you." "It's a shame Tommy. We could've had something. "In your dreams." I was surprised Elsa admitted to actual having feelings for Tommy.
The fight between Tommy and Randall in the front of the school was great, especially when the kids started coming out of the school to see their science teacher fighting against the principal. But Elsa gets away, and all Ethan cares about his Ruby Dragon card. At least he's consistent.
Trent takes it to the Island Fortress, where he confronts Elsa. I liked how he came off as evil Trent when he confronted her. Great fight between Trent and Elsa, but when Elsa has the Ruby Dragon blast Trent to the ground, why does she just leave him there?
I'm glad they mentioned training in the woods, even if they didn't show them training. So the battle ensures against the Ruby Dragon, and the threat of Trent's secret hangs in the balance. Nice job covering your tracks Trent, but Dr. Oliver's definitely happy about it. "Any one of us would've done the same thing." Tommy -"Well none of you had better in the future. That's all I got to say."
Some good Zord action this week. Tommy got to pilot the Mezodon Megazord, and everyone got to work together. The five part Z-Rex Blaster was cool too.
The ending was a shock. The way everyone reacted to Anton's behavior, and started running after them, while Trent yells after them to leave him alone. The look on the Rangers' faces when Anton becomes Mesogog was priceless. I've never seen Tommy so pissed off before. The pure look of disappointment on his face.
And next week... Poor Trent. I don't think Zordon's ever made anyone give up their powers before. It looks like Trent must take the walk of shame. I guess this was officially the week where everything hit the fan.
On one hand, I wonder what's going through Tommy's mind right now. He just found out his old partner, Anton Mercer is Mesogog, and Trent turns out to have been keeping his secret all along. On the other hand, I've been in Trent's shoes before, well not literally.. but in similar situations. This is going to be a long week.

You know what all these spoilers for the Abaranger finale on the last two pages, including the statue that will probably become Meso's/Zel's zord, make me think of? One Word:
Lothor.

I'd love to see Lothor return, but I have a feeling he'll fall under the same fate as Gluto- get shrunk down into action figure form... and never be heard again.

I haven't been this series' biggest fan, but this episode was infact pretty fantastic. I'm glad Knux IM'ed me and told me I better tune in... OR ELSE!
Elsa iz t3h hot. God I love her and she's such excellent energy when she engages in fights. Seeing Dr. Tommy and Principal Randall go at it was also a fun sight, but the Trent vs Elsa fight was the best fight of the episode.
Good frelling lord these people can fight!

I'd have to say Tommy/Randall was better than Trent/Elsa.
The sheer fact that Tommy somehow flipped a bench he was sitting on...
Mackaybear
11-01-2004, 07:12 PM
Yeah the Tommy/Randall fight was really welll done. That thing with the flipping bench was wild. And Randall/Elsa at the end "You fight pretty well for a Science Teacher". Was she somehow trying to keep his ID quiet? And tell the School Board I resign was priceless.
I've seen the majority of Abaranger in raws so I know how it ends. I liked that it was the team split up during the finale.
I'd wonder though about Trent. Usually if a hero dies it's usually the one who was not always a hero from the beginning. Trent's not had things easy at all from his first appearance onward. Could this be some sort of foreshadowing is what I was thinking. Yes I know American TV frowns on death, but there will be a new exec at the head of next years PR. So maybe he'll go out with something unusual.
Ok I know that it's not very realistic that they would kill Trent. But sometimes I wish American TV was not so prudish/moralistic/unrealistic.

Betcha Tommy would be all ready to give Trent his morpher back then...Don't know if you quite got the guist of what I meant (or maybe you do ;) ), but I was thinking of somewhere along the lines of Lothor being transformed or used in the Genome Randomizer (I love how that sounds, even though its not really random) to become/make the statue from the Aba finale, perhaps act as a monster/zord for Mesogog, OR he DOES act as himself but is transformed, perhaps forced on by Meso, or by purpose in desperation, like Trakeena/What-his-name fusion from LG
It would be cool to have the actual actor show up again, but that could be a good alternative if they go cheap and don't get the guy back. ALTHOUGH its great there was even a team-up at all, so maybe that would be uncalled for, ALTHOUGH they didn't have to leave the Lothor thread dangling.
ALTHOUGHx3 it might be like you said and he's just forgotten. At least it was a first dramatic, then a cheesy-in-both-bad-and-good-ways, WTF moment that had our jaws hanging in an awed aweness over its goofy yet awesome awesomeness.
As a famous 'toon dad would say: "Do you understand the words I am telling you son?" since I lost track when overusing the words awe and awesome.

How does that fare over there? Or is it just an curious oddity where only Japanese internet fans watch it and rant on how we butchered it, improved it, or whatever'd it?
The perfect chance to introduce it came with the team up with Ninja Storm. It wouldn't have taken more than two or three lines. Something like Cam saying "We don't need this thing anymore. Hey you guys can have it." Having things in the intro but not in the show irks me for some reason (like the Dino ranger helmets roaring in or the Ninja rangers multi symbol attack thingy.
This episode was great. Very intense at the middle and end, and the beginning with the "aren't you too old to be playing kids card games [ala Yugioh]" was amusing. Still wondering when we'll see Zeltrax come back though.
Good to see some more unmorphed Tommy fighting. I'm actually gonna miss that. I'm actually a little surprised that Elsa could keep up with him. Is she really a cyborg (like the promos said) because I don't think they've ever said so in the show.
From the previews it looks like Mercer will be seperated from Mesagog, which leaves the rangers free to destroy Mesagog without remorse (and getting by network standards). Although when I saw it I thought of something odd. Master Org was the only villian to be defeated and not come back. Rita, Zedd, (Master Vile left on his own), Trakeena, Vypra (if you want to include her), Lothor all were defeated but came back. Granted it was because of team ups, so you needed last year's threat, but I still find it interesting.

What, they could handle S1's Americanization, they could handle S2's use of the 5 main rangers from Zyuranger being led by the Kiba Ranger from Dairanger who's no longer a perverted precursor to American Justin, yet in S3 they couldn't handle that team using the Kakurangers' mecha which could be combined with King Brachion from all the way back in Zyuranger, a miniseries where they team up with the Kakurangers who still use the same mecha thus creating 2 sets, glitter Zyu/Dai suits, and the Zyu/Dai team being de-aged and can only return to normal and save the day by becoming the Ohrangers, thus severely messing with the Japanese fans' heads, who had just gotten used to the fact the series didn't reboot with new characters and suits each year, only to have the costumes and villians start switching on them again? ;) Oh they're silly, they're silly...
( : Thanks www.japanhero.com (http://www.japanhero.com/) ! Learning is good! School IS cool!)
Although when I saw it I thought of something odd. Master Org was the only villian to be defeated and not come back. Rita, Zedd, (Master Vile left on his own), Trakeena, Vypra (if you want to include her), Lothor all were defeated but came back. Granted it was because of team ups, so you needed last year's threat, but I still find it interesting.Makes you wonder how he'll be "introduced" in next year's team-up. (I do NOT know for sure, but I'm guessing most of us assume he's gonna bite it or be imprisoned somewhere in the end like most top baddies. Ironic Lothor's probably in a worse condition shrunken into an action figure than he was in PR-in-both-senses hell:p )
HMMMMM, next year shall be VERY interesting (MAJOOOOOOR!!! Dekaranger/SPD Power Rangers Spoilers!) with 8 current Dekarangers, a 9th one is supposedly coming, the possiblity of 10th one, given that "Deka" means 10 (I think), and technically 11 with that movie ranger who showed up for 3 seconds :p Is that enough to make up for only 5 rangers and 1 sorely missed clone?

No, they didn't "recieve" MMPR S3 or Zeo. They weren't released on tape there, I believe.
I've always liked to think of how a sentai fan in Japan would have his mind blown by seeing Kingranger, the Ohrangers, Bandora, and the Megarangers in the same episode...
And, yeah... SPD's gonna have a bunch of Rangers, assuming they use each and every one from Dekaranger. You've got the core five, DekaMaster (definitely why they're keeping Doggie Krueger as Anubis), DekaSwan (which will probably be the same as Dekaranger, the Hayley of the group), DekaGold, DekaBreak (Which will probably be the "loner" agent), and the rumored 10th Ranger)... I wonder if they'll end up creating a second team... AKA Space Patrol Gamma.

A little off-topic, but I think it was Poweranimals who said there was no Aba vs Huri footage used in the DT/NS team up. Well I got the DVD today, and he was right, there was nothing that was done in NS/DT. I have to give the DT ep even more credit than I did before because of that.

Well, I would think that the combined might of the head honcho of DinoThunder + the webmaster of RangerCentral + resident expert of PR on this board (Read: Egotistical Me) would have equaled it for you...
But seriously, it's good that in some little bit, Ninja Storm has raised itself in your opinion.

Oops, my bad
Also a little rumor going around says that "SUPPOSEDLY" the 9th ranger within the show itself will be called DekaBright, but she's has gold on her suit, so maybe she's the show's version of Marie, the 3-Second-Gold-Ranger from the movie  (Although she supposedly won't be called Marie in the show) EITHER WAY, it sounds like a wild ride :D

I watched my tape of "House of Cards" a couple nights ago and I must say it was a fine episode. The fight with Tommy, unmorphed, and Elsa in front of the school was unexpected and Trent certainly looks like he is in for it. They tried hard to make a "serious" monster, but it is kind of hard when they are stuck with a monster suit that has a big yellow bow on the front of it.

Huh.
I was expecting you to focus on on Mesogog being revealed to the Rangers...

Eh, everybody already talked about that. However, that scene also did a good job of highlighting how the situation seems to be out of both Anton and Mesogog's control. As always Tommy is the man, it'll be sad to see him go at the end of the season. For a guy in his early 30s sharing the spotlight with a bunch of kids he really puts his all into the show.

You know what I wish ABC Fam would do? I want them to air all of MMPR S3 because there are episodes that were never aired after Zeo started (the one where Vile turns them into kids comes to mind). I also want them to air the 3 parter where Kat first becomes pink ranger and Kim leaves.

Considering that Season 3 used to be my favorite season, I've been surprised when they do air episodes, but they DO air episodes from that season. I wanna say they aired an Alien Rangers episode a few months back.

I think he's 31 actually.
Well, there WAS that rumor that SPD Red was gonna be the son of "The Original Red Ranger", which could have meant Jason/Austin St. John, but that's REALLY freaking unlikely at this point.

On the bright side, we'll get to see JDF/Tommy next year in the DT/SPD team-up!
Of course, that also brings up the fact that unless they decide to make a trend of bringing back old rangers each year or something, which KnuxFive said was pretty unlikely for Austin/Jason to suddenly show up out of nowhere and land on the SPD cast, chances are this is the last time we'll get an older actor and character, this being a one time deal with the former poster child of the series, since in a few years kids won't care. Even the Power Picks will either fade away, or kids will stop picking really old stuff, or those choices don't get made available.
Ummm, HEY! On the bright side, we'll get to see JDF/Tommy next year in the DT/SPD team-up!

Oh, speaking of Mercer...
A quick jaunt over to Rangerboard will show you Latham Gaines' latest post.
EDIT-
Well, we can hope JDF shows up next year, but it's not for certain. Hell, we don't even know if there will be a team-up, considering there was no "Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger VS Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger"...

Since when has that mattered? Most of the time the NZ TV team-ups are completely NZ footage and usually doesn't bother with getting the rights to the Sentai VS. movies (except the LG/LSR team-up with the zords/mecha, right?)

The AR/Zeo team-up right? I remember that re-airing awhile ago, but before the team-up marathon on another day, not during it.
(Would've made more sense than showing the episode before the PRiS one where the TMNT show just because the Turtles showed up at the end and lead into it.)
(Of course, most people probably didn't want to see any PRiS episode with the Next Mutation TMNT. They could've just shown the AR/Zeo ep and throw in either Adam's or Justin's one-shot team-up's in PRiS.)
P.S. On a final note, I liked The Next Mutation as a kid, realizing it was goofy and not as good as the movies, but after seeing that episode again and seeing how BAD it was when as a kid I liked it, although back then I did notice the Turtles didn't help out much until the end. REALLLLLY makes me wonder how bad the NM TMNT show itself might've been with my current older perspective.
P.S.S. HEY-at least on the bright side, we got to see the TMNT riding flying surfboards in space while yelling "COWABUNGA!" :D

No no, not the Alien Rangers miniseries, I mean the actual episode where Vile turns them into kids that leaves off into the AR series. I already have the AR episodes on tape from when they first aired.
Plus there were other episodes I want to see like the three 3 parters, and a bunch of the individual episodes like the one where Goldar wants Finster to make a new potion on Zedd.

Huh. I must have got my watching of "The Alien Trap" mixed up with an official airing.
But hey, "Hogday Afternoon" blew my freakin' mind as a kid.
