That's good news. I really like the show. I hope it comes to AS soon.

It's not really getting a second season, the remaining episodes are just being held off until January.

i thought it was shaping up to be a 26 episode series. as for it being shown on AS, i would say it will be on there as soon as Dec to help market the dvd release in Jan.

It's not really getting a second season, the remaining episodes are just being held off until January.That's what it looks like. Episodes 18-26 are being classified as a 2nd season from what I've seen.

How this effects Geneon's plans, I don't know. They may be forced to roll back their DVD launch of the series.

Why would they? It's taking them eight months to release all of Paranoia Agent, and that's only 13 episodes. They can streeeetch it out.

Their agreement with the Japanese production company might revolve around the series being complete in Japan first. However, classifying episode 18-26 as a second season may get around that block.

Just a thought...

But they are the Japanese production company...so I don't think there'll be any problems like that. :p
