First of all you're right its been too long, I miss your MIB work :D

*looks at pic* What can I say, TNBC its one of my all time favourite movies & you've done a great job on Jack, nice to see Zero in there too!

If it hadn't been for Kingdom Hearts I would not have seen ANY of TNBC! Luckily it means I have a vague idea about the concept behind this pic! Looks nice Del. Confident and crisp. The CG seems a little less uncontrolled than I recall from a year or so back. Relies less on CG activity to produce a solid and welcome return to the Drawing Board!

As a huge fan of TNBC, I highly approve.

Wow, that is a real professinal looking. Your picture reminds of something that would be used to advestise The Nightmare Before Christmas. I wish I could create something as well as you. :)

Thank you! I ought to get around to doing some MIB. It HAS been a while. I've been doing class work and inbetween that, I've also been doing a lot of "Weird Al" Yankovic artwork. All sorts of different styles including the cameo he had on Johnny Bravo.

The Nightmare Before Christmas has always been a favorite of mine-- saw it when it first came out and I was little, but as the 10th anniversary came around, I was turned off to it by the over-saturation of the Hot Topic goth Nightmare Before X-mas scene. I saw way too much of it and it lost it's charm for a while--- everyone was wearing it and it just irked me. Heavy duty over-saturation, and over-use.

We began studying more stop motion animation in History of Anim. class and I was in the mood to draw Jack and Zero, and it came out really well. As for the CG, I've learned a ton. John Delaney gave me a few pointers about Photoshop and from there, I've been working up and figuring out new methods and effects with the CG coloring. I think I owe it to Delaney for pointing out the layer multiplicity and starting me in the right direction.

Thank you! When I was drawing it out in pencil (http://www.ufotofu.net/pictures_cartoons/jack_pencil1tg.jpg)I wanted something that would be a self-inclusive design. Sort of be a complete thing rather than just a picture of Jack. The ink (http://www.ufotofu.net/pictures_cartoons/jack_ink1tg.jpg) came out very well and I was able to easily color with a good, solid ink. the only thing I changed were the lines on the moon. I wanted something a little more glowey.

Ironically, as for it looking professional, someone left a comment at my Deviant Art gallery mentioning that he had seen me at a Weird Al concert wearing a shirt with a particular picture on it, and he thought it was an official tour shirt and tried to buy one at the show. I was a little surprised and I thought it was pretty cool, especially for someone to see it and then stumble onto the picture at Deviant Art.

It's a good sign!

Thank you guys for the comments. I'll see about putting some of my recent stuff up here. It's been more along the lines of Weird Al art (I did the October Calender at Al-oholicsAnonymous.com (http://www.al-oholicsanonymous.com/aacalendars.html)) and I've been in sort of an accordion-kick lately. Hehe.
