The winds of winter always bring change. Change of clothes, change of weather, and change of programming networks. Most networks' slowest marketing times are the weeks leading up to Christmas. It is not until Christmas week itself when the money rises high.

Williams Street themselves know this, which is why December is a month for relaxation for Tom and Sara.

Starting December 3rd, Dragonball takes a well-deserved rest from Toonami. The block in December will feature Dragonball Z primarily, to aid those that have missed the first run of the 43 new episodes of the Buu saga. Zoids and Batman Beyond will be there to help pitch in for the long haul.

But don't get all jolly during Christmas. Evil is lurking around just around the corner, when New Years Eve-il arrives. Viewers will get to pick which villains should get the spotlight for this mini-marathon that begins at midnight, with a short warm-up bash of suitably evil Cartoon Cartoons, like Aku from Samurai Jack, Evil from.. Grim and Evil, and more.

Then, on December 31st, Dragonball comes back in a big way, launching off a brand new season of episodes from the Red Ribbon saga. Right by its side is everyone's favorite disoriented love legend, Tenchi Muyo, who is merely just along for the ride while Ryoko and Ayeka think they talk/fight on his behalf.

And of course you can't have one space saga without another. Gene Starwind has answered the call, and Outlaw Star will drop anchor in The Midnight Run, just like old times.

But why stop there? America's favorite american action shows, Batman: The Animated Series and Superman, return to Toonami in January, kicking it off with a nationwide poll that dares ask the question: Who is better?

Similar in vein to the Powerpuff Popularity Contest, Batman and Superman will hold hour long marathons on Toonami from January 21st through the 25th and viewers will be able to phone in who does a better job of keeping the streets safe for the folks at home, like you.

Then on the 26th, a 6-hour marathon will commence, and voters will finish picking what show will win the big poll. The winner will receive his own little mini-marathon at the end of the night in celebration.

Yeah. Change is tough. But Toonami's there to help you get by. And according to Tom, as far as that goes, "Ain't nothing changed."
