Danged placement...I live in Eastern time, so it won't be until 5:00am.

You're lucky. 2:00am is the ideal time for me, as that's when I go to bed in the weekend. 5:00am--INSANE! But I'm gonna try my darndest to catch it in a couple of hours.

Well, I just came back inside and there are definately meteors out. Just not enough to justify me being outside in the freezing cold (gotta love north western PA!). But in 30 min or so I'll probably go back out to see more.

I'm not gonna sleep anytime soon, so I'll go out once Bullwinkle ends at 5. I've got a lot of nasty wishes I'd like to make against a lot of people I hate, so I figure seeing a bunch of shooting stars should be a good way to get those done. Plus there's the whole "biggest meteor shower in 90 years yadda yadda"... But boy are those guys gonna be smacked upside the head when I make my wishes!!! j/k ;)

I just got back inside. There's nothing like laying on the cold hard ground looking up at the stars on a freezing November morning! In the hour I was out there, I'd say that I saw 30+ shooting stars. About 10 or so left a really long bluish streak. It was very impressive. I wish I lived in the country so I could see hundreds instead of dozens, but it was still a pretty good for such an urban area.

It was too foggy to see anything here in Northern VA, so I'm kinda glad I didn't wake myself to try to see it. Figures, the one night we don't have a clear night has to be this one.

I saw a whole mess of them, sometimes in strings of 3, 4, or 5. I'm in a more rural part of Mass. so I didn't have to walk far out of my building to get away from the lights and have a nice view. It was very nice to just sit around and look at the sky and reflect for a while.
