Very nice section. Interviews, behind the scenes footage, and so forth. Also AS.com updated their shows section with FMA and GitS. And there's an ROD clip.

His cartoon form is fat.
My own observations -
- Justin Cook is not what I pictured him to look like.
- Damn, Alison Retzloff sounds just like Conan.
- Well I'll be. There really is Japanese text being hidden by those boxes on Case Closed.
- FMA looks cool.

That they still give attention to Case Closed seems a little encouraging, I just hope the network isn't leading FUNimation on, and the decision not to renew has already been made, say, weeks before.

Wait, they're only showing 15 episodes of FMA? That's not going to make people happy.
Something must be taking its place on February 19th.

Which is odd, because they've got enough of a head-start on the dub to stay ahead of the TV broadcast, unless Funimation is worried that later episodes of FMA will take a week or more of editorial work in addition to the dub time, which would put them behind schedule. Granted, I'd hope Funi wasn't editing stuff so much that it required a week's worth of editorial. Things have loosened up a bit since Blue Gender.
Meanwhile though, the rest of the interview was quite interesting. I too, am hoping Funimation has a real shot of selling CN some more Conan, and these interviews make it seem as if CN atleast cares somewhat about Conan.
Anyway, interesting stuff.

I read most of the interviews so far. I can say Collen Clickenbeard is a hot chick. hehehehe. But anyway from what I read so far I thought everything is very intersing. I heard alot of good things about FMA, so I can't wait to see this show.

It's not FUNimation that's editting FMA. If it's edited at all.
Considering how they almost delayed FMA to January because they didn't get tapes, I think FUNimation is just slow with the dub process.

Just because the episode guide only has 15 episodes in it doesn't mean it'll stop there. It didn't happen that way with Case Closed. Or Kikaider. Or Wolf's Rain.

It WAS going to stop with Case Closed as far as I know but they changed their minds. Inuyasha also planned to stop at episode 77 as listed in their episode guide until they revised the schedule to run new Inuyashas in November and onward. When they put up the Wolf's Rain episode guide they didn't have the OVA at the time. Jerry Chu said as such.
What I can conclude from this is that... what they put up in the episode guide is in fact all they intend to air, but then after the time of writing if they get more episodes or if a change is made, they never go back to change the section. So it's possible that more episodes could air but I would think that the amount they put up gives you an idea of how much they intend to start off with. It's not like they were just being lazy; they put up all 26 episodes of GITS. Either they don't have the tapes or they're going to stretch the show out.

Yeah she is. I've always liked her voice for Rachel but dang... Now I plenty of other reasons to like her. Hard to say if she's hotter than Laura Bailey though.
Man... Justin Cook. Didn't see that one coming.
Nor Mike or Vic...
FMA is gonna rock!
The boxes cover up stuff on Conan. Is that the same case with Yu Yu Hakusho?
"Goku running around naked" - I didn't expect to hear that one Mr. Cook of course it does come up quite often (especially in Dragonball)
"A well placed bush" - LOL
And the confirmation that they intend to dub all songs if possible but they also use the original BG track now.
Now now Matt... Remember we can't just use the episode guide to confirm how many episodes will air. You thought Inuyasha was going to cut off at 77 because that's where the guide ended but it aired on more episode than that. CN and Adult Swim episode guides are hardly reliable in that right... Some episodes on those guides we wont get right away or even until the next "season" and we'll get some episodes that aren't listed.

No it hasn't. It still stops at 77.

Colleen is roomies with Laura? Oh man... that's awesome. :anime:
So Aaron Dismuke is actually a kid (of 12). I figured he was when I heard his voice on Fruits Basket.
Colleen is gonna be Hawkeye and Rose. Good times. Though I think she probably should have only be one character.

Funny how they started out the FMA video with the much better OP "Melissa" than with "Ready, Steady, Go" which Funi has been shilling to no end.

Ed and Al sound good, no doubt Vic's gonna carry all the emotion well over the course of the show. Colleen, looks, and sounds good for Rose no doubt, let's see how she does military figure.
Honestly my first time seeing Justin Cook. I pictured more of a younger-looking guy, but that visual won't matter when he's in the studio.
This was well-timed.

That what I thought when I first read that too. Since I'm huge fan of both there work. I also think Laura is hot too when I first saw her on the sneak preview of Fruits Basket dvd I got.

Some very nice interviews pertaining to FMA and Case Closed. Somehow i'm not worried about Case Closed after seeing how much they payed attention to it in the interviews.

Well thanks for proving my point that just because that's all they list in the episode guide, doesn't mean they're going to stop there. They probably intend to get more episodes, but they just haven't come yet.

Something must be taking its place on February 19th. The reason there is only 15 episodes showing up is that we are still production the show. Production is starting to work on episodes in the low 20's this week.

It's Super Lance to the rescue!
It's sure is nice to have you around.
Next time you see Colleen and Laura please give them my compliments. They are both very beautiful and are wonderful voice actresses. Oh yeah and pass a little love to Justin Cook and John Burgmeier, they're awesome as well.

Ah, I was in the ball park atleast: production lag issues. I take it CN's only got 15 episodes to list then at the moment then?

If the actual dubbing process itself (recording, not writing) takes a couple of weeks per episode, wouldn't that mean Adult Swim will eventually catch up to FUNimation's little buffer of episodes? There's bound to be a point at which it cuts off to give FUNi more time. Like, say, sometime before episode 30, cause they typically only run 25+ episode seasons of shows anyway-- until they randomly decide to extend them, albeit in a different format, like in Inuyasha (Sat -> Weeknights) and SEED's case (Sat -> Friday).

It sounded like it was 2-3 episodes done every couple weeks, with upwards of a week of editorial per episode depending on the episode (FMA should have none, but you never know.)

I could see them take a short break at the half way point and put it on weekdays for a spurt. But I'm sure the whole series will have aired by the end of next year.

Justin Cook plays the Yu Yu Hakusho trading card game and he kicks butt with it too. I had a chance to play a game with him at Otakon in August and he is very cool, he even started walking around shouting "Spirit Gun!" randomly. I swear he left me in stitches that guy is officially cool as hell. I believe he got second place at the tournament at Otakon.

yep and thats the bases behind the following quote from FUNFlack:
(Below directed to all readers not the poster)
And come on people! Where else but Adult Swim could you see two seasons of a show in such a short time span? That's a lot of shows and murders to soak in. We need the reruns to keep our production crew sane! It's not like poof! Here's new episodes. Production takes time.
(waits for the fevor of crazed Conan fans)
