What does everyone thing of "Zoids?"

I've never seen it before, but saw a commercial for it the other night on CN. The animation looked very crisp and well done. How is the rest of the show? Any good? Worth watching?

Well let's see:

Is it groundbreaking? No.

Does it have a deep plot and on-going character driven story arcs? Nope, not really.

Is it just plain fun? YES!!

It basically depends on what you like. If you like episodic mech battles without the series messing with your head :p then you might want to check it out. Also, just to point out two things. First there is a small running story in Zoids concerning the Backdraft group, a group that runs unsactioned battles with no rules, but jumping in at this point in the story it shouldn't confuse. And second, this series is actually Zoids/Zero which has noting to do with the other Zoids series (which is more like Digimon from what I'm told).

One other thing to keep in mind. Once Zoids completes this run it looks like they're going to be taking it off to put Tenchi back on the block. Zoids should be back at some point in the near future though.
