Better scientist...

Who do you think is the best "scientist" - Dexter from "Dexter's Lab" or the Professor from "Powerpuff Girls"?

I have no preference scientist - wise, but character-wise I like the Professor more. I do love Dexter, though.

scientist-wise? tie. Well, near tie. Dexter - 51% and Professor - 49%

character-wise? I like Dexter more, but Professor is also awesome.

That would depend on what criteria is being used.

If it's the total number of inventions each has produced, Dexter seems to be ahead. If it's required that the inventions survive intact, then Utonium wins- he has an advantageous lack of klutzy sisters.

If the *usefulness* of their inventions is the measure, I'll have to give the nod to Utonium- he's managed to turn out three functional superheros, while Dexter has only made a single (and doesn't even know it.) On the other hand, we may have to take points off Prof for also creating one highly troublesome Supervillain (Mojo Jojo), so this contest may end up as a tie.

Dexter also seems to be able to make almost anything that he wants to, though often those creations are flawed.

Both of them are very likely to make mistakes. Prof. made Mojo and PPG by mistake (he didn't mean to add that Chemical X) and also accidentally made that mind-switch machine. Meanwhile Dexter's stories often involve him making some invention that has an unforeseen flaw.

So, is either one of them really a good scientist, or are they just dimwits that are fortunate that they haven't killed themselves yet. ;)
