This show is awesome.
The OP and ED are both in Eng(r)ish, though it's acceptable.
It had a lot of English actors in the show, too.
Ryuusuke had alright English. (Though he did that "over-emphasizing" simple words and phrases like "make you pay", that some do.)
And the random street-punks, for all I could tell, were English.
"What tha **** are you doin' to my car!?"
Enough about the voices.
The character designs are nice, and they go well with the animation.
(Which has great CG, BTW.)
Go check this show out. It rocks.

F'n awesome. I am prepared to watch this for as long as it lasts. Animation is freakin' great and the music fits well. I'm not even 100% into rock and I'm loving this. Yes, this needs to be watched by more.

Glad the anime is raising Beck's exposure level, because the manga is awesome.
By the way, the random street punks are supposed to be US military (I don't know if the anime specified) and hopefully were cast by actual soldiers.

I didn't know Beck was still working. Last I heard of him was that Futurama episode. Now he's doing anime?

Not the same guy, though the manga does reference him a few times.
Beck is the name of Ryuusuke's dog.

WOW this anime screams "cool"
which studio is doing this?
wait.. is this by whatever studio did tenshi na konamaiki? even though the lip and eye designs are similar im not basing it on that... im basing that idea on the fact that the characters look horribly skewed and wrong from angles... like they did in tenshi

WOW this anime screams "cool"
which studio is doing this? eyes look kinda gainaxy but backgrounds look bonesy :p and
It's done by everyone's favorite all-purpose, multi-national animation studio, Madhouse!
the 3d isn't lame sucky 3d, so it can't be gonzo... :p
You haven't seen Yukikaze, have you? or Saikano? or Last Exile? Gonzo does good stuff when they have time, a budget and a script.

here's a list of stuff:

well, i've seen parts of yukikaze and last exile... yes, it does look nice, im not saying that their 3d doesn't look nice, i just prefer bones-esque 3d (like in bebop and FMA) that doesn't look so disconnected from the 2d characters
and... haha, it's so funny how ryusuke is the stereotypical long hair, tall, and skinny musician type

Actually I'm not really sure whether there was much 3D per se. It might have rotoscope spotting. Matt Wilson's got a better eye for rotocoping. I'm not sure whether it's a case of really good background art done in 2D, hand-painting over 3D wire frames, high-grade 3D or rotoscoping. I know some of the rock concert stuff and guitarist stuff looks rotoscoped at the least.

So is a Graviatation style(yaoi) music series, or is it a regular non-yaoi show?

Non-Yaoi as far as I know.

I'm liking it, but, eh, after following the manga for so long, I'm a little jaded to some aspects of the show. The character designs for example are going to take a little getting used to. That, and after how beautifully Harold Sakuishi represents their musical performances in the manga, I'm going to have set my expectations lower for whatever they use in the show. I did however like the OP, so maybe it won't be so bad.
I'm really curious how they're going to adapt the story to 26 episodes... but really, looking at the staff, I'm confident on how they will handle things.
The manga, at least, is very much not yaoi. In fact, a lot of it has to do with the romance between Yukio and Maho (seen in the OP). And some other girls (like Izumi)... but mostly Maho.
